  1. Why are you questioning my work ethnic? You don’t know me! Just because I’m struggling with a theoretical course. You think Im struggling practically?
  2. Reading all that was pure comedy
  3. I know what you mean. left school 16 years ago. I wasn't very good at it then. Been on the tools 10years now, I still enjoy every minute of it. Probably more so now as I can pass on my practical knowledge and experiences to the youngsters, Not that I'd call myself old at 31. I just felt my Theoretic side was majorly slacking and its something I can be proud to have.
  4. Success!! In two days..... I've answered a single question. We'll ignore all the toys thrown that were once in pram and the rapid hair loss. Onwards and upwards
  5. I like Drenaline with mine. I tried some Marlow Vega when I failed my first lot of drenaline because of a nick. But hated the stuff. So brought some more Drenaline .
  6. It’s the Hypocritical bitchs that bitch and moan about stuff. Then proceed to upload a video showing themselves doing exactly what they were moaning about! Gave up Facebook long ago. But I see it on Instagram everyday
  7. Cheers guys. I’ve found that I’m taking more in watching videos of the subject. Anything that I read I end up getting enraged with because I can’t understand it. Im having a good go at it tomorrow and hopefully start to get somewhere. I suspect once I’m done with soils and get into the stuff I do know more about, it should sink in easier. I best leave the gun to head idea. There’s been times I might’ve pulled the trigger ?
  8. Hi guys. Currently I’m studying my ABC level2 though HCC, long distance. To say I’m not the most academic person is a huge understatement. I hate class rooms, I struggle to understand things I’m reading and I definitely hate exams and assessments. To say I’ve had really good understanding assessors i think, is a credit to them. Im a well driven person, but I’m really struggling to find the motivation to do this. Has anyone else had the same struggles I have? Is there any helpful suggestions or neat little tricks to help me get stuck in to it? Cheers, Mike
  9. Anybody know if Yale still do it? Can’t find it anywhere. I running with a zigzag currently with Marlow vega, but it’s basically cack!
  10. 500/600 quid a week isn't something to moan about. Put a bit more effort in on a Saturday and it could be 720.
  11. So are you guys also freelance climbers? I find carrying two bags of kit with multiple ropes in a pain in the arse. But as one or two of you said. I don’t like the bounce. Plus I like the option of having a second line installed in the other half of the tree or as an rescue line.
  12. Nice. I have both too. Enjoy using them both. But can’t help but think two ropes is too much
  13. I’m interested to know what you guys are using srt for and whether you have separate climbing ropes or just one rope for both ddrt and srt?

Cheers for the tip. I’ll probably just resort to popping the grommet off when needing to adjust something

Alright? I’ve just replaced my old carb with nice and shiny new C1Q-S61. Trouble is the adjustment screws don’t align with the grommet. I’m guessing I need a different as there was two carbs to chose from. Does anyone one know what the part number is for the grommet I need? cheers
  17. I find it too long. Most of the time I clip it back on my harness. But there times I’ll drop it. I do like it, But for the cost. I wouldn’t be replacing it for another tho.

  21. Pretty sure it says in the booklet that service life is 5 years. Mines only about 3years (I think), replaced the bridge countless times, leg to hip a couple. I'd be happy if it passes it's next LOLER
  22. When it fails LOLER, looks abused or I see a fancy new colour. Recently brought a new lanyard just for its colour (pink:thumbup:) I'm guessing I'll need a new long one soon though, along with new harness
