  1. Yeah ok, i swore. I shouldn't of, should of worded it better. I put my hands up. Sorry, i got hot under the collar everyone makes mistakes. 'Thank heavens not all are like you'. Don't you think thats a bit heavy though?

  3. Don't you dare brand every young, english male as that! You have no idea what i've been doing just to get my foot in door! I've been working my backside off for the past year getting the necessary experience and NPTC's. Not every young person just sits on there backside and does nothing! Just to prove, i was offered a job with a local company once i've got my 30,31,38 and i'm gonna take it!! If they retract there offer i'll relocate, simple! I love this job and the oppertunities that come with it. So i'm working my ass off for it! On a lighter note passed my 30,31 last monday. So just my 38 to go Sorry for the langauge, but you cant judge all of the young generation just because of a few bad experiences.
  4. Anyone know part 2 is? I can't find it anywhere. Really want to know the outcome lol

  7. I'm looking at buying my first saw and wanted everybodys opinion? I've got a budget of about £500 and i the look of the Stihl MS260 but the Husqvarna 346XP is cheaper and roughly has the same power and weight. It be mainly used for small trees, logging, groundwork stuff etc. Cheers, Mike

  11. Basically has anyone used one? I must admit im more of an Stihl man. Im looking at buying my first saw and Husqvarna seem slighty cheaper. But having seen videos of this Triobrake thing, im thinking it'll help me improve my posture, technequie and keep me away from some bad habits. Also it seems alot safer Heres the video <object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAPo5Q5_emI&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAPo5Q5_emI&hl=en_GB&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object> Mike
  12. Dam! On my CS39 then! That would've been ideal for me to try some equipment before buying it.
  13. Too be fair! I HATE THIS CRAPPY SNOW!!!!!!!!!! Had a job today, first in two months. Was really looking forward to getting back on the saw and this happens! awell i just gotta wait for it to melt lol
  14. Are you under 25? If you are go to the prince's trust. They can only give the maximum of £500, but i also went through Different training courses with my jobcentre. It takes a while, but now i've got my Lantra basic chainsaw maintenence and crosscutting and have my NPTC 30,31,38 and 39 booked and paid for! Although i have paid for some of it.
  15. Man thats cool!!!! Its always good seeing people with authority having a laugh. It shows there human lol. Although i think those MPs in london are just pure careless robotic assholes!
  16. Cool cheers. I did try to find this person out on yell.com but couldn't find him. Never thought about the phonebook...... Why? I don't no lol

  18. I did orginally put up a post asking if anone could take me on as an trainee. But i think, with this current financial climate, i was being a bit optermistic. So now i'm asking if anyone, in the gloucester area can offer me some work experience? I currently hold my Lantra basic maintenance and crosscutting and have done 3 weeks work experience with a local company. Basically im looking for someone who could show me the ropes and give me more experience before i do my NPTC units 30,31,38 and 39, which i've got booked for this coming March/April. I am fully committed and have a masive desire to do this as an career (and hopefully go to canada to work with my uncle). I have my own car and P.P.E and im willing to travel up to 30 miles from where i live (Forest of dean). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers, Mike
  19. Lol, yeah the doctor was good. Guida always bleeds, Sanchez ****** him over on there last encounter! Although Sanchez always ***** people over........ Well............ until BJ
  20. Sanchez only got one clear punch! His upper cut in the third round!!! I think anyway. If not, he didn't get many! Another thing i notice. There was alot more blood than previous
  21. Man, Sanchez got owned! NO one can stand up to BJ. What is everyones view on Dan Hardy becoming the first ever brit too become welterweight champion?
  22. Hi, not a problem! I just rang up and asked to apply for a grant. The only thing thet did say is that they've only got a certain amount of funding. Oh and the maximum amount you can have is £500. All the info is here Development Awards Hope this helps
  23. Hi all, Im looking for someone to take me on as an Trainee, preferably in the forest of dean/gloucester area? I only have three weeks experience, which i did with a local company and can provide a very good reference from them. I currently hold my Lantra Basic maintainance and crosscutting but i have got myself booked onto the NPTC CS30/31 course in march and CS38/CS39 in april which i have managed to get the funding from the princes trust and the jobcenre. I have my own transport and PPE. Any help would be greatly recieved. Thanks, Mike.
  24. I'm doing this course too in march, but only the 3 day felling as i've already done a lantra course in maintenance and crosscutting and i pretty confident on the CS30 part. But i've heard rumours that for the CS31 part you learn the 'split level', 'danish pie' and 'boring' cuts. If so could someone explain a little, what there for etc. Also anyone Done courses at Hartpury in gloucester?
