  1. Now i'm a man who loves my tattoos and have several myself. But i want to now what you guys thought of them and would you employ someone who is heavily tattoo'd that show i.e. Hands, neck? The reason i ask is because because i'm planning on getting my hands and the side of the neck done, i'm gonna ask my employer what he thinks first. But obviously don't want to ruin any future job oppertunities should i move area. Also to all you freelancers/ self employed who are tattoo'd. Do you sometimes have any difficulty getting work because of your tattoos? Cheers, Mike

    Hello

I brought my Harness from my instructor. But i stress it was brand new and only i have used it. Wouldn't buy anything from Ebay. Especially kit that im trusting with my life.
  3. Can't beat Silicone! I use it for my AEG Guns. Lubs up really good and stings like hell when shot :thumbup:
  4. All i could of were those green and orange TicTac mints
  5. I was looking at some Hi-Vis climbing shirts earlier and was thinking that it might be a good idea to get some! I'm just wondering how many people wear Hi-vis? Cheers Mike
  6. Man that looked fun! I want a go!!!
  7. Lol. I admit i did have a couple to celeberate
  8. I must admit, my tree ID is pretty shocking But last week i couldn't tell one tree to the next and its now part of the cs38 assessment (which i passed today). So i just got stick into my collins gem Tree book, read though over and over and went to the woods for a quick go, which went BAD! But today when i needed it, it all just clicked. I think its just how much time and effort you put into it. All in all i recon its an ongoing learn curve, they'll always be something else we didn't know about.
  9. That looked fun!!
  10. Cheers! Yeah, its a darn good feeling
  11. Man what a busy two months its been! I've passed 30/31/38 and 39 in that space and have done nothing but revise for them. I've been working so hard for this, raising money, getting experience with companies etc and finally it all seem to be paying off No time for a cold beer and a rest, i've got CV's to be sending. Oh and cheers for all the responses and help i've recieved so far
  12. Well, had another go today and it went really well. I enjoyed in fact Just kept my cool and got on with it really. Had a little slip but nothing i couldn't handle Bring on the assessment
  13. Hiflex type C's. I find them really comfy
  14. Oooo! Think i'll have a look. Have they got a webpage or link etc?
  15. Ah Poo! I missed it. Nevermind theres always next year
  16. Ah, cool! Cheers for that, i'll have a go at that on monday as were gonna recap on it. I've asked the instructor if we could go higher. Just so i don't get to the assessment and bottle it. But whatever happens i'm just gonna take my time, making sure i'm doing it correctly etc.
  17. Cheers boys. I think its just gonna be the case of getting on with it, doing it slowly at my own pace, making sure everythings correct and if i do slip deal with it. I'll keep you posted on how i get on!
  18. Hi all! In the middle of doing my CS38/39 course. I'm fine with all the stuff i'm doing in the crown and feel pretty confident with that. But as soon as we moved onto pole climbing today i just didn't like that thought!! I know how to do it and i now what im doing is correct 95% of the time. But the thing thats getting me is, i just don't trust that if i do slip or take a fall that the strop is gonna stop me and not slid down the tree with me. I think that i need to just sit back in the harness, take my feet off the tree and let the strop hold me there to prove to myself that it will! But again i still think that im gonna fall Does/did anyone else have this little problem? If so how did you overcome it?
  19. I like it and i know for a fact that i'm gonna get more training in first aid. In my short experience of the work enviroment i've already learnt the harsh lesson of not being over prepared and I ain't gonna be in that position again.
  20. Yeah, sorry again. It won't happen again, promise! Feel like a right plumb
  21. Lol. Part of growing up and learning i guess! Next time i'll take the calmer way and try not to stur things up.
  22. Yeah, i've kinda realised that now
