  9. dangerous dead eucalyptus,not massive,but due to the 2 main stems with the risk of opening up,the quote was for half a days work:001_huh: strapped 2 limbs,job done 2 hours:thumbup: would not say over priced,more luck than judgement,the job just went well for us sorry mark (bolam) could not resist.. its just been a good week,the job above,picked up a good nick jonsered 2165 for £150 and swapped a lorry load of logs for a woodbuner....

  11. good shout ed.. bought a used one a few yrs back (£150) well used and battered but cut awesome:thumbup: pity it got nicked:thumbdown: to be honest these days i would not pay £500 for that,when i can get a 550xp from my local dealer for £485 550 my next saw:thumbup:

  18. you dont have to get one,its just you can adjust with one hand,you can use a prussik loop,thats what i started off with martyn:thumbup:

  20. dont make your own... its not worth it buy one,for the sake of £30 to£50,you get tried and tested one which is CE MARKED with a serial no! if you had a accident using a home made one,you would be in the shat:thumbdown: ive just bought a 11mm @4m from skyland,with vat and post came to about £50 but worth it i was using a 13mm@3m with a ISC rope grab but the max rope size for the grab was 13mm,so when the flip line got sappy and the outer sleave gets a but fluffy and bobbly,it gets tight in the grab
