  7. i know baxter,not sure about james robinson,i know gareth robinson(mostyn) ive only been with fountains for 3 months,before that i was self employed for 4 yrs and also used to subb,ive worked up your area with dave corran and his boys
  8. prob not this weekend terry,but with in this month,need a weather update for a few weeks ahead,also want to reccy the 12 acres of ground,hope to do that with owner this weekend martyn

  11. just a thought,what does every think of a meet off junc 30 M4 (cardiff gate) we can meet in the services for grub,it a easy location for all to get too,then we can go the other side of the M4,where my mate owns 12 acres of land.(rudry)

  14. we all have to start some where,when i was up brecon for 6 months,i had never done any hedge laying before,i was just clearing out at 1st for the boys to come behind to do the laying,after a few weeks watching and taking mental notes i was laying my own sections and did enjoy it:thumbup: like i said in the thread previous,it was only basis work (for doormice)

  18. i done a bit of basic hedge laying up brecon for a company a few years ago and i did enjoy it..

  20. sounds like a plan,worked for torfaen council tree gang over the last 2 yrs(when needed) theres a great cafe over there called owens
  21. i was watching the carving at the apf and a lot of the carvers were using small rear handle echos (i have a 26cc top handle echo and they were using the rear handle version,good little saw)
  22. i will go where the trees are calling:thumbup: i think last time we were going down neath area,but i will go anywhere everyone can agree on! i dont mind the travel,i drive an hour to work everyday
