  1. like you say above ive owed 4 fourtraks over the years,great 4x4s,bullet proof engine and gear box if you look after them,but like you say lots of rotten ones about these days,and with them being out of production,getting thin on the ground.. get the best you can afford
  2. 5 brand new ms261s were bought when i was working in the forestry,always issues with them..
  3. with all the bad weather we have had in the past few weeks,police are warning about 2 guys acting as workman clearing snow near schools,they go by the names jimmy shovel and gary gritter...

  5. vans been outside all day,got up at 5.45 as normal this morning but going no where. text were sent out not to atempt to travel to work,the yard is 1 hours drive on a good day!

  11. just thought i would share with you guys,i was working in a place called kniver today (stourbridge) doing some reactive work (utility arb) when we saw these gems up on top of the hill:thumbup: kniver edge and the rock houses
  12. i agree matthew,it would be a great day and a good laugh i thought the rudry site was a good idea, junc 30 m4 is a pretty central location for eveyone to meet,have a bite to eat,then go for a climb my mate owns the 12 acres down rudry,we went down on saturday to have a look,theres not a woods on the grounds,but some trees good enough for a climb,some long thin alder,great for spikes,so the newbies can have a go:thumbup: the date was too early for many who were interested,so perhaps feb

  15. I worked for Torfaen council tree gang for a while (subbing)if you look into my friends list,see beared munch and send him a message,he still works for the council and they could drop some wood off in the van to you hope this helps martyn

  17. for those who are still interested,ive been to the the climb site with land owner,not a bad little site.some nice trees for the new climber,some nice tall alders (like telegraph poles) for the spikes.(had permission to spike) we can give this site a try next weekend,and then put in another date for feb,for the guys who cant make it.. martyn

  19. climb update well chaps ive been looking at the 30 day forecast and next weekend looks good (sat 12/sun 13 jan) what do you all think then,shall we do it on the sat 12th? junc 30 M4 for 10am to meet in the service,grab a bite/coffee,chat then go for a bit of a climb:001_rolleyes: martyn
