  4. Best to go for a silky you will get more use out of it then a bow saw. Your going to struggle like hell at the moment as sap is starting to rise. No chance of a chainsaw? Would make it much quicker then you could make the cuts look nice if there a little rough.
  5. Depends if you would like to have the cs30 and cs31. if its for homes use check this out 1 day training course - introduction to safe and efficient use of chainsaws | F R Jones and Son

  9. Use them when i climb for another company, Make you look a lot more pro then shouting all the time to people up the tree. Sound quality is good and range is ok, Ive only used the stien ones so carn't comment on any others. If they where a little cheaper i would be buying a set.

  12. To be honest. Not much more then it is when im felling in the woods. If the risk is too high i will not take the chance. I spent a good 1hr before felling it making sure it would land where i wanted it to land. Climbed it half way to set a line in and was 100% Confident enough that it would land where i wanted it too. I had a bloody good tutor who taught me how to fell trees on a tooth pick. P.S It was my ass that went never mind my heart
