I used to rave about my Ms271 now its just problem after problem. Spear parts forget about it.. 3 week's my saw has been in the dealer waiting for a new part to come along. Go with the 261 or a husky. It is a good saw the 271 once its broken in a fair bit, Its like a 261 but for less money you get what you pay for really. I only got the saw as it was the close'st i could afford at the time to a 261.

Depends on what route you wish to take, If you just wanner be a cutter do the Tickets or If you wish to now about trees how they work act and how to look after them Do the course. Like Alinicoll has said you may not get the chance to do it again. -

Like they have all said You need a bit of weight under it to help self tend. Once your up in the tree its all good One handed movement Feels sooo nice in the tree.And it has improved and built up my climbing and confidence.. Just be care full as i've have had a few slips and falls and panicked like hell. Slow and Steady, Just wait till you do a fast descend fell like SWAT!!!

Job for tomorrow 9th/07/2012 Easy day 40 Conifer trees just need to be felled and and stacked Saw is need and transport. to meet at site or at the yard. Call 07724730258 NPTC Would be an advantage but will Be more then happy to supervise some one. PPE Can also be provided Could lead to further work also this week

try both if u can but ive heard alot about petzl being good as you have only said petzl could any of there's, not heard anything about the harkie. i would say go with the petzl, But your going to be sitting in it so make sure you comfy and feel safe in it

Ordered some new Hiflex seeing that i have out grown them in size, Dunno how that came about. Anyway they must of been up early as i got my e-mail to say that they where on there way at 6.07am this morning

That tree dont look to good, All the crown in one place dodgy. Looks like a SRT setup to me and after studying your picture for a while, I still have no idea whats going on. On the plus side its the best paint drawing I've seen yet!

There are loads of places to do the course Cs30 31 Was around £500 all in for me and that was 1 week course chipper ticket is a one day jobby Cost me another £200 all in Not sure how much it will cost now But some one will come along and let you now more

Chipper Ticket and if your to use a chainsaw you would need your Cs30,31. Your driving licence is fine as long as the Van is not over 3.5tons and your chipper is not over 750KG

The stuff stihl ant to bad been using all last week and this start off with the 2.4 and moved up to 2.7 will tackle alot more and im not going back as much Might be worth moving up depending on what you have Strimmer line | F R Jones and Son
