  2. Was it MyHermes? In my experience, they are as much use as tits on a fish.
  3. Absolutely, Tim. Growing old is crap but it certainly beats the alternative.
  4. Driving past a dead decent size Horse Chestnut yesterday, I was surprised to see 2 Mallard ducklings plop out of the branches to join their siblings and mum on the ground. If I hadn't seen it, I would have struggled to believe it.

  21. Best post I've read in ages.
  22. I think I would be inclined to tell him in no uncertain terms that he will be paying for the damage. If he won't, get his insurance details and go direct to them, not forgetting to tell them exactly how the damage occurred.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
