ive always used makita chainsawas. i have one 52cc and one 79cc i have had them for 10years and they are still going strong i would recommend them to anyone.

some people cant afford to spend £150.00 for a load they rather buy the small bags as they need them ,others have no storage 80% of my buisness is supplying small bags to shops and garages.Prices vary up here in gwynedd the most you will pay for a samall bag is £4 unless its a CPL bag or fuel express the cheapest ive sean one of them is £4.50i recommend my customers to charge £3.50 each or 3 for £10. As for the size of the nets some suppliers use the 60x40cm net which holds 8-10 medium size logs and others use the 65x45cm net which holds 10-12 medium size logs .good luck with your course

im wyn owen my buisness is called owen firewood direct we are based in north wales do you deliver this way postcode is ll537yp ,i pay £37 a tonne +5%vat for softwood deliverd am i paying to much for it ?if u dont deliver to northwales do you have any clue of anyone who does and is cheaper than £37 a tonne .regards wyn

I wont go out with my mobile palax combi 600 for any less than £200 a day+they supply petrol for machine and pay for my fuel cost to travel to site and supply a labourer to pass me the timber.

I have a kindlet turbo 240v machine your welcome to hire it,my prices are as follows. 1 week £300 2 weeks£450 3 weeks£650 4weeks £800 i have a special offer if you book it for july or august you will only pay £750.00 for 4weeks hire,i charge £30 per 100miles for delivery and collection to cover my fuel and time . to answer your question is it worth doing ,my answer to that is , if you have the material and the customers and there is good profit in it dont think to much about it just crack on. good luck

hi ive just found a palax combi 600 on ebay i have one myself superb machine .

i think a machine takes to much off the chain your chain will last longer using a file buy a guide also dont for get to file the small teeth on your chain with a flat file always make sure they are lower than the main teeth good luck

hi when you say by the pallet load do you mean in nets or loose in big bags i could do you a artic load of nets 80 on a pallet 8-10softwood logs each net size 60x40cm orange @£1.45each no vat all would be shrink wrapped and i can arrange haulage for a good price, if you are interested call me on 07875925857

hi i hire my processor out with my self operating it i charge £250.00 a day + all fuel cost to travel to you and back and fuel for the machine if you have no labourer for me to pass me the timber i can supply labour for £50.00 extra a day .also u would have to pay for are b&b if we are with you for more than one day .we can do around 15 tonne of sofwood lengths up to 10inch diammeter and up to 10 foot long a day call me on 07875925857 ill be available from first week in march onwards regards

i find if you have some nice clean stuff its ok and all the same size halfs ,but you cant beat offcuts for the kindlet or 6 inch round wood
