It is well worth buying a artic load of round wood ask your supplier for 2.4meter bars u will pay £35.00 to £40.00 a tonne for them deliverd bars are from 5inch to 10inch diammeter ,its better than buying a load of chipwood they will be cleaner.u will get 2500 to 3000 40x50nets out of a load.I hire a kindlett machine out its a 2005 model one man can operate it u will do 50 nets an hour with it,the new turbo verion will do 70 to 80 but u need 2 men to operate it. I charge £750.00 a month +my fuel expenses to deliver and collect have a look on ebay i have it advertised on there.or have look on classifieds on here good luck

bird in the hand is better than 2 in a bush i like to sell timber to trade at a good price so everyone makes a healthy profit.

£30.00 a tonne road side is expensive u need some one who is close to u to buy it with there own fowarding trailer or wagon most timber haulage companies will charge a minumum of £10.00 per tonne +17.5%vat.and the max load is 25.5tonne and hard wood is a lot heavier so the wagon wont have the full volume capacity when loaded.I would ask £25.00 a tonne road side that will allow for the buyer towards haulage costs.good luck

hi i travel from northwales to westmidlands sometimes i could drop off a load when im passing friday the 15th jan .They would have to be delivered in nets 10logs in each net id drp off 50nets @£2.50 each total£125.00 if this is any help pm me ur number and ill give u a bell cheers from wyn

get yourself a makkita dcs52cc with a 15inch bar it would be light enough for what you need and also enough power have a look on ebay u should find one there good luck

Hi there i use john dowty ltd i use the 65cmx45cm woven orange nets i pay £119.00 a thousand inc v.a.t give them a bell on 01905620404 they will give a better deal than medallion ive bought off them for 8years and they havent let me down once tell them that i robert owen from north wales suggested them to you.good luck

Hi there just spoke to tony philips @fuelwood the splitter is £1,700 inc vat new so i was not far off.therefore this is the right price @£750.00 any takers.

Its a fair price the machine would cost you over £2,000 new id let it go for £750.00 if u want it.its a very robust machine with a honda engine ill keep before ill accept any less than £750.00.
