  1. That bag looks value for money m8.so i take it you decided to split those logs after all good luck.
  2. Call at local out lets make some leaflets spend a few days posting them in your area, also id suggest taking the small bags to carboot sales if you have one local.myself i supply shops and garages with the small bags and i also do the loose loads i do them in wheele bins.2.5 wheele bins is a builders bag full but when you deliver in the bins you can put the logs in a shed/garage for the customer.i find this way goes down well with my customers as other suppliers in my area do the tipping trailer loads and just tip them and drive off.if you live in a terrace house you need to barrow them after delivery.with the bins you can take them round the back for them and it aint going to take much time to do it thease small services go a long way i also give a free bag of kindling with every order.good luck

  14. We have all given you advice.all you need to do now is a bit of market research.and go for the option thats suits you.if you get so busy you cant keep up with your orders you can always buy in your kindling you can pick it up for as little as a £1 a bag.never put your eggs all in one basket in buisness it doesnt matter how you make your money as long as you are making it.that my way of thinking and touch wood im doing allright.
  15. To right u will double your money if you buy them off 76ar and they are kiln dry give the guy a ring you will have a shock how cheap the guy is.like mr ed said you could then cocentrate more on the logs side of your buisness .take my advice m8 ive got 12years experience of running a firewood buisness and i would not give you the wrong advice.buy them you will be able to sell more of them because you wont have to produce them so in the long run you will make more profit.good luck

  25. Do you cut your kindling by hand if so get a waist high length of hardwood 15inch diammeter as yor chopping block stick two battons off two sides 4inch down then run your other battons other way and hang your bags they will be a little lower so you can chop your kindling straight into bag put 3 pieces of a old drum round three sides about 10inch deep so all our hard work goes into the net good luck.
