  1. petzl traxion is a good tool for this very job, its a pulley with a rope grab on it so you can set that up on the line where you want and lock it off then attach the rigging pulley to that.
  2. done this before in tight spots where the whole zone is patioed works very well indeed you can even set to lines 1 for the rigging and 1 for your anchor
  3. defo top set up that would take alot to fill that truck up with chip i like it
  4. looks ideal but does it tip? cause having the hiab and chipper on the back. and tipping sideways them sides looks rather heavy to take off each time lol
  5. surprised that hasnt been bought up and converted and made millions out of it get in there i say ian
  6. might do i reackon they should open a disabled climber class for the event
  7. looks like i wont be goin now been well looking forward to climbing comp for weeks. today i have a run in with a silky and 3 hours waiting in A&E ive got 3 stitches and a big bandage to show for it. cant climb for few weeks now
  8. does it matter the trees blown over anyways
  9. looks like a top machine that, unless you got to not mark the lawn with tracks at all how much weight will it carry/tip off?
  10. exactly how i see it, technology is good but its gone to far, most rely on technology now, herd a story from my americian relatives local to them 2 girls got lost in a cave they had there mobiles whats the first thing they do post on facebook they need help. lucky one of there friends read it on facebook and called the cops.

  17. shame you couldnt make it, was a good event, royal welsh show is a complete nightmare though, i had the passes but the stewards sent me to a car park couple miles away from the showground. had to get all my chainsaw stuff onto bus to get showground. then theres no signs at all to where anything is was a nightmare everyone said same thing. then i won 20litres of aspen and a trophy i thought ooo sh*t how am i going to carry all this back onto the bus had get a lift instead.
  18. a little video from the bbc, the uk loggers starts at 2mins 30seconds into the video is the logging bit. shame i cant understand a word of it, but was a good day out, shame i didnt get my trophy till the camaras had gone typical lol S4/Clic Y Sioe/10
  19. i just went on google then click on maps. it should have on the left hand side next to the actual map "add your business on google maps" click on that and fill in your details.
  20. rock climbing style is best option by far like the guys have said. create a anchor at the top 3 or more anchors equalised with a static line and clip your running rope into a biner or pulley into that, and your away sounds my idea of heaven that job. nothing better than cliffs
  21. i would go down every way of making sure you get paid. maybe its just me but i wouldnt care how much hassle it took to get them to pay even if it is tiny money. i would not let someone not pay me for what they wanted doing. im just stubborn i guess but people like that do my nut in.
