  10. We can deliver a transit load of seasoned, split logs to fakenham but we charge £120 a load you can always give us a call if you dont manage to pick any up else where.
  11. Couldnt agree more. Also a location of where you live and willing to travel would be helpful.
  12. Just got a email from honeybros thought i would copy and paste it. Martyn, this is to inform you of the recall of the following GRCS winches that we shipped to you. Serial numbers 1661- 1665, 1674-1678 and 1766-1770. These winches are the Harken 46 Arborist model which was introduced last year. We recently discovered that a small number of these were shipped to us without some small notches being machined into the top of the drum. These notches allow the self tailing a greater range of travel to accomodate larger ropes, ( up to 19mm) we have made arrangements for Harken Italy to do the machining on the winches sold in Europe. We will need a shipping address and an email address of each owner to arrange shipping back to Harken. There will be no cost to the customer. The first 46 Arborist winches were bronze with a 2 piece drum, all of these winches have the notches and do not need to be returned. There are a small number of 46 Arborist winches that are bronze with a one piece drum, htese need to be returned along with any 46 Arborist winch that has a one piece drum. The 2 piece drums were made by adding a 35mm tall ring to the top of a standard drum and are easily distinguished by a circumferential seam about 30mm below the bottom black self tailing ring. Attached are pictures of a bronze winch with a 2 piece drum, a chrome one piece drum and a chrom drum showing the notches. I am sorry for the inconvenience to any customer, but I want everyone who has a GRCS to have a winch that is up to our design specs. Thanks in advance for your help on this. Best regards, Greg-- Gregory Good
  13. I think that is very true, theres alot of people who havent got a thing to back them up yet all they do is try and annoy people and try and put them down.

  17. Finally got a chance to get back to fell the stem today, where the main union is at the top sat off the floor 5ft. worked out well as we needed to grind a stump next door also. Back to another next door neighbour next week to dismantle a oak and other bits there going mad for tree work with us round there. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. Use any saw you want you have to enter the whole chainsaw comp so fell a small pole cross cut couple of logs and sned a pole with fake branches on. Its a good laugh.
  19. A different breed doing work like that!
  20. Certainly is! i use it alot on pop tops works a treat.
  21. Nice vid looked a nice job. I miss my big wellie job was so nice to work on. Cuts easy aswell.
  22. Dout it would have as it took less than 10hours climbing as it was, besides speedline wasnt needed as we had 3 guys onsite for that simple fact of using a tag line, couldnt have been felled as ive mentioned was left above the main union and the drains in the middle of the lawn.
  23. If i wasnt doing my own business i could afford a range rover easy! wouldnt make me rich. Them people are often the people with no money and lots of credit cards.
