  1. Looks like a normal horsechestnut to me. They do seem to be struggling the last few years though, got big one to take out soon still has buds on it but it doesnt come out into leaf. Seen that a few times now.

  3. I wouldnt hide the profit, if i had to break it down i would show exactly what is what. A business is ment to make money. Its the total price that counts to people, not how much you get to keep.
  4. Nice work, no helmet cam? What size crane did you have? That stem will weigh a fair few tons!
  5. Used to do it alot nothing better than the fear on a high E grade on the sharp end high above some dodgey 50/50 gear sure gets your heart beating and im always surprised how that feeling makes you climb so much better. sounds good a arbtalk climbing club
  6. Its a 50min drive to my local dealer i buy my saws from them, but everything else online get better prices and i can order when i want and delivered to the door.
  7. I no my mates company has a big tracked schliesing chipper that broke down the managed to move the flywheel round by hand to move it back onto the trailer, took them ages but they managed it.
  8. A local husqvarna dealer go every year if there lucky they get the big husky lorry.

  11. Exactly right. Good tine to buy aswell as alot of people are struggling and selling up its a buyers market at the moment.
  12. You cant really go wrong the machinary you buy holds its value and in the case of my timberwolf chipper is making money by sitting in the garage because the price new goes up so does the resale value so if u dont get the work sell the kit and get ur money back.
  13. Yer we both like site clearance kind of work and want to get a setup thats pefect for that, also want to get into firewood in a big way as we have the perfect location for it so thinking about processor and buying in cord. Soon make back ur 30k though with the right setup
  14. Thats dans trolley its crap, he loves it though, maybe sat down went through figures etc and got a few things to sort out but looks good, looking at bigger kit also front loader tractors pto chippers big timber trailers etc so the future is bright at the min.
  15. In a ideal world you would want to take the body off and build a full ali tipper chip box every little helps with increasing the painfully low payload on any 3.5t truck.

Today was a horrible wet and windy day finished at 2pm felling 2 conifers got all of the bigger one stripped out and just left most of the stem really tight area to drop stuff took 3 loads full to the brim with chip and 1 load of timber. back tomorow to do all the rest should be a easy day.   21. Although this thread has got me realising how much i miss it watching vids on youtube now im on ebay looking at kayaks bad times!
  22. Used to do lots of white water kayaking and kayak polo is awesome used to do that every week. But ive had 3 very bad near death drownings so ive never got back in a kayak since the last one unfortunatly!

  24. All year round for me. My yard is total mess after i got a tractor to move all my chippings its never recovered i cant get on it with a landy at the moment so hopefully soon it will dry out enough and with my tyres ill get on there.
  25. ive done over 3000 miles with mine on the transit and theres loads of thread left. they dont rub with a load on either.
