How did u manage to get it out in the end were the builder guys already gone who had big diggers etc. thought was a late finish for a friday it was dark after i had finished food shopping you were still there. Hate the feeling of being so helpless when you get stuck!

  14. My mate has a tiny toyota dyna 3ton tipper legally get a ton on the back thats after a chip box, its a very nice truck worth looking out for turning circle is practically turns on its own length. Pulls like a train 130bhp economical aswell, top of you budget you would get a decent one maybe even a 3.5 ton one.
  15. I would class my self as working class my mrs is working class, we both earn about 14-15k a year my parents were working class but now worked there way into middle class where they dont have to worry about money really. Im not one to judge people by classes alot of people now seem to try to look rich but are pennyless. Im going to be trying to work my way up to a comfortable level where i dont have to worry whats in the bank etc etc currently in a situation where me and another company are combining we are wanting to expand and hopefully provide a wage where i reach my goal.

  20. I went to timberwolf finance they give you a good deal buying there gear new. I was dealing with a guy called marko he did my mates chipper aswell really nice to deal with. They would finance a truck also if you went down that route, as others have said be sensible with finance work out the figures to see if it makes sense first.
  21. I do love the grcs, mine is gathering dust at the minute not been needed lately
  22. It must be a secret cd drive then defo isnt one, i then did think oo ill get it off the app store couldnt find sage on there anywhere. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. I have the same problem i bought the new imac didnt realise it doesnt have a cd drive and cant get sage on it so it sits there not getting used now i just use my knackered laptop
  24. As many have said i would get a truck first, ideally a tipper as you said your main income at the minute is subbing to other firms if you have a truck you can charge extra each day and they can use your truck with chip and logs etc a truck will earn you more money, a chipper is almost useless without a truck. I started with a car and mostly subbie climbing when i got my work i would use other firms trucks and chippers, till i could buy a tipper transit then i earned more as i had a truck they could use, when my work came in just used other firms for ground work and they brought there chipper, i then bought a cheap chipper worst move ever ended up taking it back got a finance deal on brand new tw125 222quid a month over 5yrs with just a 10% deposit Which seemed like a hell of a lot but really its not costing that a month because when the 5yrs are up i will trade it in and get another new one and i will probs get a few grand less than i bought for it.
