    <p>I have the 1600kg ace winch its plenty man enough hauled some big trees over with that! Even pulled my truck out of a field when it had sunk upto the axles and for the price its worth it abit fiddly but once you get the hang of how to get it in neutral its a good winch, if they do a bigger model i would get it though just bigger the winch the better really!</p>

  7. You should have noticed that tree before then? Certainly was a beast, im from kings lynn so was abit of a trek for me out there.
  8. Yes 185/75-16 is the normal road tyre but for the offroad tyres search 205/80-16 and they will still go on your rims
  9. Yes it was at the old rectory hotel in thorpe on yarmouth road the stumps still there 8ft across hes hoping to get a carver in to make a seat which will be nice that its still part of the house for a good many years yet in some form

Well originally thought it was compaction as it was all tarmaced under it about 5 yrs ago and last years extremes in weather, now its down we have found the mycelium layers under the bark so i think it was honey fungus but im far from a decent fungi person, think that was the conclusion earlier in this thread anyways.

  12. I have mega offroad 90% offroad 10% onroad tyres on the back ive had more than i should filled to brim with wood and chip the gap is still there the tyres dont bulge at all they were dirt cheap aswell retreads so real cheap
  13. Thats not true ive had loads on the back of my transit the gap it the same as always no need for a spacer, theres no need for having them on the front either.
  14. Well ive cut down alot of overheads everything is alot cheaper now, also my advertising is under £100 a year which is a massive cut from year before in yellow pages etc

  16. Have you looked at the danequip machines they are very narrow access, 27hp hydrostatic drive, 5500+vat new my mate paid
  17. That includes my new chipper finance, public libility, accountant, bank charges, truck insurance, truck breakdown, fuel, breakages and spares, my phone, my yard is free so im lucky there.
  18. That has made me just work all mine out transit truck and new chipper all fuel breakages and spares blar blar is £33.83 minus my wages with my wages its £126.83 a day
  19. I dont want to work mine out, if any of us had any sense we would be in a different trade.
  20. I wouldnt bother it doesnt work with a prussik it gets to tight and just doesnt work, i would stick to normal prussik or look into the prefered hitch climber knots as they work better.
  21. To me it doesnt look like it can go down deep enough, but its good at that price with that engine, best way will be to try it out and report back with what you think.
