  7. todays job had 4 of us on site to tackle 2 days work in the day, same place as we did the big wellie dismantle. lovely day for it.
  8. ill second halio ladders my mate has a big set, they are bloody heavy to carry but the bottom bar does help being adjustable, heavy duty ladders they are. what are next set will be.
  9. Nope ours isnt im affraid we use it alot, we bought it new last year £5500 plus vat brand new id love to sell it and get a hydraulic one but every job we get we wouldnt get a bigger machine in so its perfect for us.
  10. We have a little danequip 27hp driven grinder it does the job and is very narrow at 25/26inches wide gets in most places there very good to deal with parts wise etc
  11. we are currently looking for a groundsman for a couple of days a week. we have a apprentice starting 1 day a week in september, however with the work load we have we need another groundsman, would suit a newly qualified college leaver. climbing would not be needed but if you can climb bonus. we are based in kings lynn and work throughout the whole of norfolk. sometimes further. are contact details are all on are website.   17. I no timberwolfs are quicker chipping than schleisings but the schleisings overall are quicker because with the hydraulic rams crushing the infeed rollers if you can get the branch to the chipper it will go through no snedding out needed! That is what id have built like a tank they are!

  19. Could be worth a thought get a blow torch on it for a few minutes.
  20. The client said could we not treat it and cover it i cant see it working though i think it would wash off easily. I cant even see the stem so it could be a big pollarded stem or a tiny thing in which case winching would be ok aslong as its not to close to the building.
  21. Would be nice, the reason for removal is to erect scaffolding so it needs doing last week as usual.
  22. Do any of them lose the effectiveness if the water was to rise so the stump was under water because she told me they open and close the flow most days causing it to be under water
  23. I never come accross them really ive heard of them, dont no how they work etc? How effective they are as willow has got to be the worst to kill.
