    ms660 recall

Jon, there's a bit more grunt now although it never lacked in the first place. Rob, I left the spark arrestor in the exit port near the chainbrake and removed the other one to try and direct most of the heat/fumes from the exit away from the brake, not had any probs since.

  7. Cheers bob, would the return journey be included in the time or do they base it just on delivery? Cheers
  8. Anyone have an rough idea of the going rate for low loader haulage costs? To transport a tractor.
  9. I take it you're talking about smaller firms who carry out work for the main contract holder? If so the price is generally dictated to them,ie they get paid a set amount per span. Unless carrying out ETR works where all the big side screen trees within striking distance are removed, this is priced up because you could be on one span all week. I'd say in my area the utility work generally pays a bit better but on the other hand overheads are higher too. Although I know other contractors in areas where domestic pays better.

  24. Tell me about it, was on power outage today, ended up with heat stroke :-(
  25. I had same prob with mine, guy at the saw shop said to run with the chain just hanging off the bottom of the bar slightly, seems much too slack when your used to the normal tension of a chain, but it runs no probs like that, also worth getting a bit of oil onto the chain by gentle running before you first start cutting cos if it runs fast and hot before the chains lubed up it starts sticking.
