  1. Ive had butterfly and dragonfly and im not too keen on the butterfly for the same reason, my balls spent more time in my stomach than in my ball bag. But you do learn to adjust your style a bit to manage. Try to lean back a bit more and keep your knees higher if that makes sense. The seat is a lot better than leg loops IMO
  2. Igland Vinsj 2*3000 - Other forest equipment - Agricultural equipment and machinery - Mascus UK
  3. Would a hinged canopy help like on my landy (if pic works) but in reverse so you could do away with the shelf and may stop the problem skyhuck had with it building up?
  4. Try here Forest machines from Jas P Wilson
  5. Chances are if anyone goes for it they will be someone with little experience of managing a tree of that size, they'll turn up with their blunt mcculloch and a 4x2 trailer on the back of their saloon car and by dinner time they'll wish they had'nt bothered.
  6. No but i did consider it
  7. "Hi Colin, I saw your listing on ebay and it got me thinking. Whilst taking my first dump of the day this morning, much to my annoyance, it got lodged in the u bend.It was a beauty and i will be gutted to see it go but we had to part company(i would say it weighed in excess of 3lbs). Anyway, i am looking for someone to pay me to come and unblock it and i thought you may be interested?? Ideally its a job for someone with previous experience at unblocking turds. Ps im a Guinness drinker if you want to throw me a few tins in too. Thanks.
  8. Come to think of it i'll take our lass with me for him to have a ride on while im clearing his tree and cutting his grass :laugh1:
  9. Might send him a message to see if theres any chance i can cut his lawn while im at it.
  10. Seen it all now..
  11. http://assets.dft.gov.uk/publications/traffic-signs-manual/traffic-signs-manual-chapter-08-part-02.pdf Lots of boring but possibly usefull info here, scroll to page 173 for cone table
  12. Exactly, thats why it was bad work instruction. Im pretty sure the dno would'nt be over joyed with your boss carrying out work in this manner
  13. Were you working for the DNO clearing power lines or was it private work? Either way what your boss was asking is bad practice. You would go up in my estimations for refusing to follow bad work instructions
  14. If you welded it it would need stress relieving and re machining. Could you part ex it as it is for something else?
  15. Must have had mine 5 yrs or so now and never had to replace one yet

    MB Trac?

Could you mount a chipper on front of an mb trac so you could tow a trailer?? Never seen any set up like this. Im thinking a mb trac with a timber crane, front mounted chipper and tipping trailer would be a fairly handy bit of kit?
  17. I got a fitting guide from Websters as mine was their model not the superwinch, got it sorted nearly now.Next prob is the front suspension. Did you fit helper springs? I'll be working on the landy at wknd so will get some pics then
  18. Some "Tree Surgeon's" also lay tarmac, butcher trees and dump the waste in layby's. Good and bad in all trades including Mole catchers
  19. Verminator's are illegal to use in the manner that is being suggested as is petrol/gas. They can only legally be used in this country after the tunnels have been cleared to collapse the tunnels. Get yourself some tunnel or scissor traps from Flatpack trap company. Its not as easy as some think to catch regularly but once you know how you can get almost 100% catch rate and should be able to clear a field in a day or 2
  20. Cheers Tom i'll have a look
  21. For Land rover Defender. To drive a superwinch. Thankyou please
  22. I vaguely remember DJ'ing on same bill as Glazby, think it was Emphatic closing party and Charlotte Birch played after me, i was supposed to go back on after CB but got wrecked and could'nt see the decks
  23. It was around £100 for full kit for rear when i bought mine. You dont need a compressor but it is an option to have on board compressor fitted but you can use any just like infating your tyres.Mine has the bushes that were on when i bought it but they are ready for replacing so will go for uprated ones.
  24. Have a look at Airlift helper springs, there's some on ebay. I have them on mine and they are spot on.Adjustable in minutes.
  25. Mine is a TD5 and the winch came of a TD5 although mine was a pick up and the other a hard top, don't know if that would make a difference or the fact that mine is about 10yrs older. The main prob is where the first shaft from the pto has to go over the gearbox mount and exhaust mount, the gap between floor and mount doesn't leave much space for the shaft. And there's a lot of angles rather than a straight run, maybe that how it should be just looks a bit haphazard to me. If you want pics of the chip box let me know, cheers
