  7. The pto set up is all there, just bolt onto back of transfer box, run your shafts to the winch, hardest part is routing the shafts.

    Alder..

    We've been taking some big Alders down the last few days, some nice timber left in 30-40ft lengths about 20" dia. The pic is from the top of one being dismantled, the guy in the tree below is about 30ft up a big Ash stem.

Thing is if you need to advertise for work you need to be legit,plus if your freelancing they are prob gona want an invoice.Plus there are a lot of businesses out there struggling to keep on top, last thing they need is people on the fiddle to compete with, at least if your s/e its a level playing field, thats just my take on things
  17. Would your current employer allow you to register s/e so you can do your own work on a wknd, if you can target a different market that does'nt step on their toes?
  18. Cant you save and buy a bit at a time? When i started up i saved up £4k and got a tipper and went from there,although i was working 2 jobs, lived off my mid week job and saved all the money from weekend job for kit, never borrowed a penny
