Bit ott mate, i'm talking about 4 years after she resigned, a law being passed that stopped people from organising free festivals and raves - exactly what she was trying to stop when she was in power. "Are you coming to bed?" "I can't, this is important" "What?" "Someone has said a valid point on the internet and i need to mis-interpret it and reply with a completely off key remark"
  4. Yeh right mate, it would not look pretty Ever see the episode of the simpsons where homer makes a spice rack? Well that's my kind of ability

The CJA was 1994 i think, and even though thatcher was long gone, her government still influenced it. They just couldn't handle the fact some people wanted to be free and not under control from legislation and law. I've had friends go to prison for organising a rave in a forest, where no noise complaints where made, but the riot police came in heavy handed anyway, without warning. This is Thatcherism i believe, still going strong in 2007. They get a custodial sentence, but people convicted of robbery, assault, sexual assault etc get let off with a fine and community service!
  6. Wow they look great in wood!
  7. Ok cheers, i can always buy online later on. (even though i will always lament about my arb evolution t shirt that never was )
  8. BBC News - 'Hitler's oak' at How Hill in Ludham cut back edit: hmm
  9. Hey steve, will you have these at the game fair? Should be traveling back for it. Quite fancy the hoodie.
  10. Superglue the bark back on
  11. Just to clarify though - that's just to get the branch down, the stub is then taken back to the branch collar, as per bs3998 Anyway, as you were TREESURGEONESSEX !
  12. Comes with experience i think. Using insulated rods to cut branches in utility work is a rip cut only technique - try doing an undercut with 10 rods!
  13. Not necessarily, you use it when needed, whether its a dismantle, crown lift, reduction... Just don't try it 5cm from the branch collar
  14. I don't get what's wrong with that? Is it illegal to do tree work without a tipper or pickup? So you have seen someone out working, using what they have to get the job done. Well done to them. I use my VW polo for tree work sometimes. Suprising how much cord wood fits in the back!
  15. So you are a ghost?
  16. Usually go as far as wells/shepton mate. Further than that the Radstock lot take care of.
  17. Oh really? We were working on an HV shut down right near there. You wouldn't happen to be the hi-line subby Marc who i've been working with for the last couple of days? (Working next to the mast on Wednesday) Now that would be funny.
  18. I do like your t shirt mate, where did you get it from? I'm a sucker for celtic knots and tree of life symbols!
  19. I was thinking 'what's andy on about? ' Then I saw the other thread
  20. Yeh it's really nice there. Did you check out the 700 year old oak?
  21. Many people just see the TV footage and base they're judgement on that. Do you all just hate glastonbury, or do you hate ALL festivals?
  22. You need a hug mate. Right wingers obviously suffer from a love deficiency.
