  2. I came towards end of the last day in 2009 - missed all the action. Hopefully i'll see some of you this year.
  3. thanks guys - bit of a quick 5 minute low-res photoshop effort, so not quite t-shirt quality. swb - or perhaps a fat guy slouched on a sofa with the laptop perched on his massive belly!
  4. our 03 plate transit struggles with the 750kg chipper! if any kind of animal or bird jumps out, there's no point in even trying to brake!

  7. I can't believe anyone falls for these (no offence if you have done). They would leave a card at the address, not send an email. Plus the email address the use to send the messages are going to look really odd.
  8. Went to the Natural History Museum in London t'other day. They have a huge slice of a 1,400 yr old giant redwood, that was felled in 1890.....
  9. nice one mozza my girlfriend really, really wants an ex army truck for a campervan - we go to beautiful days festival every years and spend ages walking round the campervan field, drooling over the trucks!
  10. Just got my copy - some nice looking clothes in the 'timbersport' range.
  11. oh dear! what an unfortunate name!
  12. Went to London in the car, fillet steak in Kensington (lol) for lunch, walked around Hyde Park then went to the Natural History Museum (they have an amazing slice of a giant redwood felled in 1890). Quite a good day
  13. The hoover will work a treat now
  14. hi mate, you can underpower them, but if you try turning them up loads to get them louder they run the risk of blowing as you will be putting a bad signal through (called 'clipping').

let me know what amps you are interested in and i'll tell you if they're worth it.

    cheers

  15. yes, that's what i thought. thanks and ps. the pictures look great, graham. very natural.
  16. By my calculations, you will have to offer 10 years worth of free servicing/parts to meet that figure!
  17. slightly off topic - just so i don't make a fool of myself when i mention it, how do you pronounce 'coronet'? with the 't' or silent? (sorry)

  20. Has anyone tried these? They are much cheaper than the Timberland's Also, what other's are on the market? We have alot of wood to ring up in the yard and I want to look after my hands whilst it's not too late! Arco Website - Polyco Tremor-Low Anti-Vibration Glove from BM Polyco - Product 1488000
  21. pah! i made an order last night for lots of goodies from clark's and i would definitely have put a couple of pairs in my order! not worth paying the postage for a pair of gloves
  22. Haha! Thanks for the replies, I'll visit my local arb shop to try some out or wait for capel.
  23. I can sympathise. Recently we topped a 100ft long, 60ft high, multi stemmed beast and had to drag it 100ft to be chipped. We predicted around 8-10 ton was chipped!
