  2. An Oak from today - took some big bits of deadwood out from the top right of this pic a few weeks ago, then the council decided to take 5 large stems out from the top left to balance the tree - about 10ft reduction
  3. have you put it on winter carb settings? if you have, all i can advise is that you let it tick over for a couple of minutes - i had a 181 and it didn't like going full pelt just after a cold start.
  4. Hopefully we will be representing our company (at the bar, not in the comps ) I think the bloke who took my 38+39 assessment is one of the climbing judges (the name Glen comes to mind...?).

  6. I have finally got my treemotion setup nicely. No more gonad pinching! Getting newer, better fitting stretch airs helped alot. Tight leg loops are the way forward!

  13. It's amazing how you have made them look good, despite 30-40% being taken off!
  14. 16 miles (or 25 mins) at the moment, which is good. i was doing 48 miles (upto 1.5 hours!!) last year - so glad i found something closer!

  20. good thread! did you get round to re-living your youth steve? stowmarket is getting a nice concrete park soon so no excuses! here's some pics of me a few years ago (don't have dreads anymore!). i'm finding it really hard to find the time/energy to skate now i work full time.

  23. normal - 4m length, micro pulley with mini vt knot thing and an isc two way snap chogging down - wire core, prussic (must get a rope grab!) long - 10m with vt/pulley
  24. Just to back up what others said, i wouldn't worry about your age or experience. Let your work do the talking with pictures and video's. Carry yourself confidently and no one will be put off by your age.
