  3. i think the small things amount to alot with this work. workmates you can have a laugh with, customers that are really pleased with the work, views from the tree - just some of the many things. this is me talking after just over a year in the industry, so check back in 20 years to see what makes me tick.

  14. i bought these from ebay last week and have no complaints - obviously you have to grip a bit harder in the wet, but in the dry they have massive amounts of grip £9.75 free post for pack of 12 http://shop.ebay.co.uk/ran1210/m.html?_nkw=latex+gloves&_sacat=0&_trksid=p3911.m270.l1313&_odkw=&_osacat=0
  15. john - i wouldn't use a snap hook on a life line
  16. weedee- is that a rhetorical question, or asking if i actually know? if the latter then yes. i bought a couple at that price brand new and i remember someone telling me that they found a place that sells 5 for £10.
  17. i want to buy 10, so would rather find the cheaper ones tbh, if it means saving £20.
  18. not 100% sure mate
  19. looking for the same or similar to the one in the pic. i bought it for a couple of quid and now can't find any for less than £4.50. thanks

  21. fair enough then. completely shut down in four minutes no more asterisks for me then.
  22. the rules do not include replacing rude words entirely with asterisks - yet i have noticed my posts being edited for including such profanities as 'asterisk asterisk asterisk asterisk' surely four asterisks in a line does not count as a profanity??!

  24. sorry to be slightly off topic, but is it possible to get temporary public cover? (ie for a certain number of days, over a weekend etc)
  25. if it helps i am on £90 a day for subby climbing with 8 months climbing experience. i know people who charge around £180 a day (i guess you have to be at the top of your game to get that).
