  1. 10 weeks hire that it paid for!
  2. Tractor linkages are very similar all round the world why not mini loaders?
  3. Still think pitch pine right age growth rings look right
  4. But it’s an adapter plate moves the centre of gravity foreward so lowering capacity, the Americans and rest of Europe all use interchangeable headstocks, trust the French to be different, I agree about the over under engineering of attachments but the fewer pallet forks I have the less money I have tied up currently have avant, bobcat large bobcat small and euro then having to buy another set of kit just seems expensive
  5. What’s happened to wave/ tidal energy
  6. I think this is where micro bull have cocked up should have used a hitch that exists l have looked at them and they don’t work with adapter plates if it had avant hitch would probably buy one, trying to get all my attachment to be interchangeable
  7. Customer has a petrol great for mucking out horses although it can’t get in the box, pretty good at grass cutting but nowhere as good as a dedicated mower, bloody useless with a flail don’t try to run rotavator, and as for loading/unloading a transit with forks it’s quicker by hand, did I mention no reach, and the operator is part of the counter weight don’t get off if the load is lifted, skid steers are much better, if you liked it in the dealers did you demo it on site? Try it see what you think,I have and not impressed I stick by it being a toy /lifestyle machine. But it is better than doing operations by hand and anything that saves my back deserves looking at
  8. Very much a toy / lifestyle machine rather than a real workhorse, off road ability of a london bus and you can pee more than the hydraulic flow
  9. Got an Ahwi in for our last line clear did everything apart from couple large willows they don’t like flails over the live pipes, saves whole load of time and better finish with only one machine.flails on diggers I’ve never found good for bigger jobs most tractors beat them easily unless it’s a slope
  10. Have you thought about getting a flail in sounds ideal for it
  11. With bird nesting we supply our own ecologist to survey ahead this allows us to keep them under control the whole gang look and survey the trees ahead and we then record this as video and written reports it’s unusual to get trees old enough for bats,
  12. You have got it we try to contact local tree officers just to let them know it make it easier when dealing with tree huggers, this advice only applies to public land if it’s in private ownership take care it’s amazing how many pipelines and cables have no legal wayleave and that’s a whole pile of trouble
  13. I clear for Cadent, gtc, sgn, and other utilities get a written instruction and carry on gas works trump everything we have never had a problem birds, tpo, conservation area, don’t worry
  14. Not sold on the machine or the idea of a loader?
  15. Try ground control do a lot of railway works
  16. dumper

    It died

    A bike!
  17. If your trailer weighs over 1000kgs should you have it plated and tested?
  18. His other post is for 8 wheeler loads of hardwood disease free wood chips to be delivered FOC?
  19. If you have a small side to the ramp your machine won’t slide of as easily when muddy or wet
  20. My rump and that of my Mrs are both well rounded and paid for !!!
  21. 90 cm diameter logs ???? It’s going to take 2 hours to set up the chipper do you have a loader or shall we bring one, then the low loader can do a full day moving two loads back and forth
  22. The difference between 820kgs and 700 kgs is 14.5 % if the tax man took that off you would be very upset it’s the deference between easily moving a builders bag of ballast and tipping over these figures are ideal tyres on hard surface level fat operator in the seat full tank off fuel etc multione always went on about tipping capacity rather than actual operating capacity this was the reason I bought Avant.
  23. Don't belive what they tell in the literature most time they are a bit deluded and definitely exaggerate the abilities of the machines get one on demo work out what you want to lift and try it all ways, at an angle and with the steering at full lock, all pivot steer Loaders lose vast amounts of capacity if not straight
  24. Can you confirm how many microchips, analysers, dpf filters etc it has and do you run it on ad blue?
