  1. I would remove and start again always going to have problems and will never make a good tree
  2. Look at the front of your mower, most loader flails are reverse mounted tractor designs, and the leading edge is too low for the foreward speed think how a forestry mulcher looks also look at rotation grass cuts better upwards with a sharp edge
  3. The benefit of a loader flail is that it’s in the right place in front, I have damaged many compacts cutting dense vegetation with rear mounts, so many I bought a carraro reverse drive, now that is a proper compact no bigger than your kubota with 50 hp at the pto full bank ability, front and rear linkage. And bloody uncomfortable to drive if taller than five foot eight i have no problems flailing with my loader different pumps for motors and drive, I find the problems come with presentation of material to the flail or flail choice to match material
  4. Talk to Klou they make their flails and motors to suit the hydraulic output of your loader
  5. Top prunus????? Fruit bottom cratagus sp
  6. We used it for trailer floors and truck bodies resists impact really well
  7. Cutting torch? Angle grinder
  8. One problem it’s Chinese therefore made using cheese, chocolate and natural rubber with chalk for bearings and massive parts backup from a shed in dongshuiz, I would love to see a European or American made example
  9. I worked for a large earthmover when tenders came in we used to look for the mistakes items where they had got the numbers wrong ie too much or too little in the bill of quantities then price accordingly items they had over estimated we priced low and underestimations high and sometimes very high but due too the under estimate on quantity made little difference to the final tender price but massive difference too the final account. On an airport job we priced under the expected cost knowing full well they had made a mistake and we could take them to the cleaners on final account and did
  10. Can anyone explain what’s happened to this plane
  11. Another for clearview
  12. Yes you can climb the tree but not over the neighbouring land only over the clients side
  13. Early starts, long drives on your own and hard work can be a recipe for disaster.
  14. Battery lasts about 5 mins use
  15. Don’t fall into the trap of pricing to win the work, put in a rate you are comfortable with always add a little bit more if someone wants to do it cheap let them, 5 months work you will have more than one unproductive day ignore the guide price could be years out of date
  16. Yep salt in the air not concentrated solution
  17. Test a soil sample for salt
  18. Might be idea to give an idea of location
  19. Yes but not giant hogweed stems are green and leaves more pinnate
  20. The ability to fell a tree efficiently with axe and cross cut saw is gained over many years, I was shown how by a very skilled patience man 40years ago I did it for a bet and lost big I learnt an awful lot that day and now would very much like to go back to thank him but too much time has passed.
  21. To extend this to a logical conclusion only oem bars and chain on saws, the belt on your trousers to be by the manufacture. Oregon and rob d would be out of business you would only be able to use Stihl oil in your saw I have found the insurers are more interested in records and paperwork than where parts are from
  22. Local trailer dealer will make these to length and fit the correct end much cheaper than oem
  23. At what pressure?
  24. dumper
