  11. Alright bud, that was lucky I didnt hit any of them nails then! Did the smaller stump come out?
  12. I have not looked at the tree from the car park side, but I think it could be felled in one. Thanks for your opinions.

  14. Cheers MonkeyD, how long would you say this tree will stand? Also, on a tree such as this, would it be safe to climb and rig it down in its state? It could just fall over at any time right?
  15. Ive been keeping my eye on this mature beech on my road, I first noticed the fruiting body 3 months ago. I have alerted the people who live in the large building, (split up into flats) but the tree is still up! 1st 3 Pics from 3 months ago, next 3 yesterday. The purple growth on the main stem I have never seen. What is it? This tree is scr3w3d and is just waiting for some winds to knock it over! (I have given my number to them, so when it falls on the house, I can go clear it up, haha!)
