  19. Hi yeoul For the past fortnight Ive been in New york getting some work experience with Tree Wise Men. I emailed Rob in June and come September I am on a plane heading into the unknown. Rob met me at JFK and the 1st thing he said is 'Ben, you got some big Cuevos' (sp). Him and his family made me feel very welcome, and the session started. In the two weeks I got to climb some big silver maples, oaks, hickory, catalpa, norway maples, mainly hazard pruning, crown clean/thins, and some fells. The 1st few days I sweated sooo much and got thru 6 liters of water in one tree. The El Salvadorian guys who also work were excellent and very knowledgable, but in a different way to us Brits. I managed to gain their respect which is apparently unusual for a Gringo! Thanks to Rob and his crew for having me, we had such a blast, hung out, drank plenty, and I cant wait till next time! Here is a photo diary...
