  11. make a thing out of a bit of wood to wrap the line around = FREE. plank of wood, about 10 inches, then cut a V out of each end, then wrap the line on it. Peasy. Throwing it just takes a little practice. Tie a knot in the line about a foot away from the end to grip on to with thumb and forefinger. For longer throws, thread an end thru the throwline metal and make a loop. GL
  12. This Mimosa is at my dads in Cornwall. I gave it a crown lift 3 years ago, then the Utlilities pruned it away from the powerline. Then last october it shed all its leaves, and didnt start putting out any more leaves until May. Looks very stressed to me. Any ideas?

  18. A great tip I learned for doing rakers, is simply put your combi spanners over a cutter and use it as a guide to file the adjacent raker. Easy! I always sharpen before raker.

  23. Hi all Just thought I'd give you a heads up on this wicked little music program. Pretty much any tune bu most artists - stream and listen for free. They have adverts about every 5 songs, but thats the only downside. Spotify ? A world of music. Instant, simple and free Just create a username and password, download the program, 2.5 mb, install it, login, then you have free access to millions of tunes. Just type in any band, you will be surpised! The Internet, pretty cool what you can get from it these days. Enjoy!
