  4. well i'd got soaked this morning sorting out for this weekend, making sure the missus could cope, the kids were looked after, unpacked the tent, sleeping bag and camping things which i am now putting all back again... at least i can now watch the F1 and tennis live from the comfort of my own armchair:001_rolleyes: hope it gets re-organised soon at some point, i presume a LOT of effort had gone into the prep for this weekend, more than wha i did anyway:lol: We should just carried on regardless, stiff upper lip an all that, show the southerners how its done:biggrin:

  14. Nyssa sylvatica does have fruit/cone type things but they are very very smooth, definitely not a nyssa Good suggestion about the cones though Sent from my Galaxy S2

  16. I'd say your looking at an Alnus rubra - Red Alder rather than the more common varieties like A. glutinosa, A. incana etc etc would need better pics for a 100% ID though:biggrin

  19. When a new thread is created on here by someone looking for an employee/freelancer/general dogsbody and they ask YOU to contact THEM via PM or email then maybe that's something YOU should do. For example :- "I'm looking for a freelance climber for a few days a week as I'm starting to get busier and need help with the workload. Please PM me you're contact details and experience and your day rate or send me your CV to [email protected], thank you" This means exactly what it says on the tin so don't (if you really want the work) then reply in the thread by saying "Hi, my name is Rob, give me a bell on 07777 111111 I'm free anytime" It's easy enough to do as the OP asked and you have more chance of getting a job rather than missing out.
