  9. surely, in the earths lifetime on a 24hour clock, our time here would be a couple of seconds to midnight, with the last 30 years a few milli/nano? seconds... climates in that time take TIME to change, no matter how much science is done, we simply do not have the TIMESCALE of evidence to get accurate results in regards to the theory of "climate change" i read an article in a tree magazine the other day that put it simply and clearly and had both for and against arguements against this "change" in a warmer climate, with more CO2, the the trees in tropical region and some to most trees in the temparate regions would thrive with the cooler climes suffering... i'll say again, its a crazy world out there and we know nothing!

Grizedale is just east of Lake Coniston and just west of windermere (right in the middle) its a huge place with many interesting trees and sculptures and artwork and miles and miles of aloneness:thumbup: I love the lakes, we went to grizedale last bank holiday just gone, wish i coulda stayed longer:biggrin:

  20. We're all screwed anyway when mother earth decides its time to shift the Pacific ring of fire! Indonesia 2004, Chile 2008, NZ and Japan last year, its getting closer to the San Andreas fault line, and when it sites that giant Caldera sitting underneath Yellowstone park, well.... Chain reaction springs to mind, and "experts" (or scaremongers) think is well over due! The human race doesn't stand a chance, climate change or not!
