True, I've upset a few people above me on the rung of the ladder because i felt they didn't have a clue, but i did it nicely (most of the time) and in the end some of them listened, if we all do our bit, our time will come:thumbup:

Bit of a long shot this one but if you don't ask you don't get:001_tongue: Having been reading over all the SJ threads, watching the vids, asking the questions I have decided that I WANT ONE:lol:! But, its a lot of money to spend (especially when i don't have any at present!) and i would like to try before i buy. I've asked people round here but no-one has one, so... Does anybody have a spare one/older model that they don't use very often that they would be willing to lend me for a week or two? If so I'd pay postage and packaging both ways:001_smile: If not, i'll keep saving my pennies, but just thought i'd ask:biggrin:

Nice work:thumbup: Can I just say something though, without being critical:001_rolleyes: Trees don't grow symmetrically, our at least most don't, especially those in close proximity to each other and/or buildings etc. doing a reduction shouldn't be 50% one side 20% the other to get it looking "nice", you'd be better doing 25% all over, for example.. A long a there was no sticky out bits that were noticeable it would still be a good job as its had an even reduction regardless of the shape. Does that make sense? Sent from Rob's GalaxySII

What tree did you get if off:lol: no seriously, where those branches drooping/weeping? what was the form of the tree? are those needle deciduous? how many needles are "grouped together" in there sheath or ontop the branch? any better pics or info? where ther any stomatal bands, if so, how many? 1, 2? how long are those needles? I have a few ideas but would rather give you a definite answer:biggrin:

Is your VT tied slightly wrong there? Looks like one leg is longer and looser than the other, does that not twist your rope? Going up there for closer looks though is dedication through and through:thumbup:
