    Tiny echo!

You don't know what your missing mate...treat yourself and you won't regret it.
  2. Go check the bar, if it's bent then replace it as you were the last one to use it, if it's OK then a new chain to show gratitude for lending the saw would not go amiss, then try not to borrow again if it's going to be trouble.
  3. It's rife in essex right now, I'm sorry to hear of your loss of saws, but to others in the area, keep an eye on your kit there are gangs doing the rounds looking specifically for our kit.
  4. Personally I prefer the old school saws and their build quality, as spud pointed out, but that's just my preference.
  5. Might have to send a friend request at you for that mate:thumbup:
  6. As a job lot it should be in excess of £1500 imo, that's rock bottom.
  7. It's down to condition, but if they are all running nice and fresh they will fetch good prices, they are all good saws that are in some demand, the ms200's ought to fetch £250 each in very nice condition, the 088 is rather sought after, I would guess £500+ in good nick, the 357 is I think a nice saw too, & ought to fetch something between the other prices, but don't quote me. I'm sure others will come and shoot me down, but you will get a good idea of their value, don't let them go too cheap.
  8. <p>Glad you got sorted mate, Spud is good at what he does, just don't drink his coffee...</p>

  9. Take a look at the small echos on the forest and arb website in the side bar here, I run a couple of them and they have been very reliable.
  10. I had a feeling there was an element of jest in there, and I touched on that in my post. Of course it is the sensible thing to try and see both sides when differing opinions clash, though often in the heat of the moment we all fail at that. Back on track, it really is so frustrating to hear of others getting repeatedly hit by theft, often in a brazen way, I can only imagine the impact that has on people, and their ability to function. I actually felt lucky when I got cleared out that I did not get a repeat event after a few months, even so it left me fuming for revenge, and at the lack of response from the cops.
  11. As you know, you get what you pay for, If it is going to be your go to saw most of the time, and worked regularly, I would up your price range and get a semi pro saw at least, it will pay for itself in the long run.
  12. Sounds feasible, can't do any harm if your willing to cut back the price, direct communication always seems to go down well.
  13. Talking of the need for snatches from the net, do you fancy replying to post 119 on this thread?
  14. Good evening, nice to see you back in such bon vivre...
  15. They will have to start again, could have been kept as a nice hedge with maintenance. Sweet little job:thumbup:
  16. I feel for you mate, and such a good well thought post, bang on accurate about senior staff, and I take my hat off to your misses for standing up for what's right.
  17. Lovely shots Paul, spring is on its way...I love early spring myself, there is a large oak outside my window, and a woodpecker rattles the morning in daily once spring starts to wake things up, it's a joy to sit with my cup of tea and listen to.
  18. Ironic....just a few posts back, whilst calling me thick, you were posting a snipit from a trash paper to substantiate your side of the debate... You will notice I myself needed no recourse to such behaviour..pot calling kettle perchance? You judge people you don't know, then insult them thinking it wins your point... from my experience in life that is a naive and foolhardy thing to do,maybe it works for you from your perspective, but ask anyone, it actually shows you in a bad light, which is a shame as in real life I'm sure your a nice well balanced chap to know... Then maybe I too am 'naive' , just like all the othe sheeple you lable, another media name by the way, used by yourself here as an insulting tool in an effort to bolster your opinion. I like others can see the tactics you use, and they discredit your ability to apear plausible .
  19. That could be it, try emptying their pockets first before chipping them..
  20. With respect to the op, the forum, and myself Im not getting involved with you any further, I made my point, job done as far as I can see.
  21. Brilliant, love the humour.
