  1. Ive had 18 mounths of chemo, about 3 years ago, that hurt, still canes me, no worries, have to take steroids from time to time, so.... I am strong, imune system is held back, but hell, face life & be aware things can change your outlook real quick, hope this flue doesnt mutate before I get it! ouch!
  2. got one three years ago to bring a dirty(full of old wire etc) overgrown hedge back down to 4 feet, hawthorn holly dead/live elm,oak ,et all. left some of the nicer specimens with just a crown lift, all on a steep bank into a deep ditch(running). thought it might kill the saw ,but hey no great loss. it got dropped, dunked, hit untold metal and now is comissioned for roots and anything you are shy of with pro saw. apart from that thin guage chain (cutters prone to deforming under duress) , it deffies all concerted attempts to do it in, deffo get another!
  3. yes, catch it now, if it mutates in winter into something nasty, you have imunity, that i think is the theory.
  4. ms 170 does what it says on the tin, & then some, they keep going, vibrate a bit.

  16. Thanks T, already got a/roll bars(standard), just lke the idea of a stiffer one on the back, the chips sit up high when lr is loaded . agree with you regards landy/ transit, tranny is good for what it does landy just widens your potential and gets you closer to the job. just completed a good sized contract for a building firm, all off road, the transit sat in the car park while my lr performed all manner of time saving tasks, dragging 20 or more felled spruces out of brambled areas for processing in th open, tipping about 30 full chip loads ,tug lines for back leaning multi stem macros & leylandi,I can only say the job (with a 2 week time restriction) was completed with time to spare, and would have been unfeasable in the tranny!
