  1. Wow rupe- that is an amazing location. Where is it? (good shots too BTW)
  2. Just got sent this email....very cool. Hey guys check this out its cool as, cheers peeps Al… Follow the instructions. 1.- Click on the link below 2.- Then "click me to get trippy", 3.- Look at the center of the screen for 30 seconds (no cheating), and then 4.- Look at your hand holding the mouse, without moving it away from the mouse. You'll be shocked at what you see. ( it is called "cenesthetic hallucination") Neave Strobe - Like dropping acid, but not
  3. Too much plastic on the 562 for me. Wouldnt have looked at the 362 if my 361 hadnt been pinched. Yet to find a more perfect saw. 2 mates have them still, and every time i use one I cant help but feeling a bit sad about my loss!!
  4. And they are scrubbed with wire or super tough bristle brush etc too. When one side becomes too dished, they are turned.
  5. I think the stein one comes in hi-viz. i have the standard grey one which is very good.
  6. Rules out my thoughts for certain lol!
  7. Twistedhicap you are correct:http://service.lombardinigroup.it/documents/Manuali%20Officina/English/Work%20Shop%20Manual%20GR%209%20matr%201-5302-286.pdf
  8. I mean its more likely to have either snapped or lost a tooth or a few teeth. That is almost exclusively what causes valve stems or push rods to be bent.
  9. I have both stihl and husky saws. Other than the 200t stihl, my smallest saw is a husky 242xp- superb, in the middle an ms362 stihl, very good, then a husky390xp- love it to bits, and an 088 stihl. I love the 390xp- it got me buying husky saws again after a 10 year absence from them, but the 066 stihls I have used are also excellent. The point i am trying to make is that It pretty much comes down to personal preference, or possibly what you get the best price on at the time.
  10. End-grain sycamore. It is naturally sterile, and the grain closed up after the meat cleaver strikes it. Sycamore was traditionally the wood used in kitchens, and in the worksurfaces of dairies too, for the same reason.
  11. There is ano OUTSIDE chance that you arent being wiound up here, and that you MAY have misunderstood/ misheard, and that they are referring to craning point in a tree, as in where you put a rigging pulley when lowering timber out.......but TBH i think someone- like us mean old gits- is winding you up. (dont watch this if very bad language offends you) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxtFd-P57BA]YouTube - ‪Kevin Bloody Wilson - The Apprentice‬‏[/ame]
  12. All the time...from a slight whine, to total deafness at times, and an inability to hear what people are saying if there is any background noise, such as traffic hum , or an electric cement mixer for example. Sometimes its a high pitched whine, sometimes it sounds like distant lorries passing. Years of dj-ing at raves in my youth, one night in particular.
  13. Just bought the small one, should arrive tomorrow, will try it on Friday....although the trees are pretty small. Got a big radiata soon, so will test it out.
  14. WTF have you lot been on about....at least Hama- what have YOU been on about. Of course its alder!
  15. LOL i found one grainy old pic! Its deffo not a winner, but if i remember my camera I will try to get some more!!
  16. Cool. Cheers Yvonne. I use 16mm liros, so givent that I have almost no pics whatsoever of me in trees (on site to work and all that) I'll be in touch to grab one anyway.....
