  1. Cambelt?
  2. There is ano OUTSIDE chance that you arent being wiound up here, and that you MAY have misunderstood/ misheard, and that they are referring to craning point in a tree, as in where you put a rigging pulley when lowering timber out.......but TBH i think someone- like us mean old gits- is winding you up. (dont watch this if very bad language offends you) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxtFd-P57BA]YouTube - ‪Kevin Bloody Wilson - The Apprentice‬‏[/ame]
  3. All the time...from a slight whine, to total deafness at times, and an inability to hear what people are saying if there is any background noise, such as traffic hum , or an electric cement mixer for example. Sometimes its a high pitched whine, sometimes it sounds like distant lorries passing. Years of dj-ing at raves in my youth, one night in particular.
  4. Reckon so!!
  5. Just bought the small one, should arrive tomorrow, will try it on Friday....although the trees are pretty small. Got a big radiata soon, so will test it out.
  6. WTF have you lot been on about....at least Hama- what have YOU been on about. Of course its alder!
  7. Brilliant avatar TCD!!
  8. LOL i found one grainy old pic! Its deffo not a winner, but if i remember my camera I will try to get some more!!
  9. Cool. Cheers Yvonne. I use 16mm liros, so givent that I have almost no pics whatsoever of me in trees (on site to work and all that) I'll be in touch to grab one anyway.....
  10. :lol:or filed your pocket up with oil:laugh1:
  11. Blimey. That sucks.
  12. But planning apps are free:confused1:
  13. lol!!
  14. You certainly do Matt!!
  15. They yours John? What you replacing them with?
  16. What its worth remembering here is that a landrover may look totally buggered, but could be mechanically superb....as is the case with mine. The ali bodywork dents if you so much as look at it lol!
  17. Wil it fit a 300tdi?
  18. Terrible News. Poor people- they seem to be just getting hit after hit.
  19. I agree Pete- that would be my worry TBH. 4k is cheap enough for a really well looked after one, but onew never knows til its too late lol! I also think that the comment about butt strength is valid....I wouldnt think that a hi-cap butt wil take years of abuse. The one i took off to convert my landy was torn to pieces on the floor...the tailgate fell off driving up the road in the end as the sides pretty much fell off!!
  20. Wow some awesome pics guys......
  21. No i dont think it was necessarily abused- I was simply passing comment. That is cheap-ish for a 200tdi tipper if its in good mechanical condition Pete. They seem to hold their value, and the 200 is a great engine.
  22. I have a feeling that that defender used to belong to log merchants in cornwall. It certainly looks like one that was kicking around down here, esp the way the tipper is made.
  23. WHat rope sizes are the pulies rated for...or I suppose what size rope will the smaller one handle up to?
