  1. Terra firma is what i have just fitted. Should have done it years ago. Terrafirma | - Accessories for Land Rover Vehicles One of the best additions i have made to my land rover in 9 years of ownership.
  2. Heres a couple from the last year or so..... Agarics in the shade of Betulae in the cornish countryside..... Meripilus on an old stump (beech or chestnut:blushing:(the latter i think)) in Penryn. Not so much roadside, as above road.......unsure of species.
  3. Although i agree that fallen soldiers should probably be remembered, I am struggling VERY hard with the 'hero' part of it. They are soldiers. They signed up. They went to a bollox war for illegitemate reasons under the banner of anti-terrorism. That makes it even worse. Heros get the V.C. I have to (cautiously) agreee with the above two quotes aswell as the original sentiment of the thread.
  4. Here you go. debark logs, chainsaw attachment, wood furniture, wood cabinets, log cabins, building, carpenters, notch, chainsaw, debarker, Hud-Son Debarker, bark peeler, chain saw planer, chainsaw, chainsaw accessory, chainsaw notcher, debark logs, debarker, log Just Saws are the agent in this country.
  5. Do i understand this correctly.....? You want to make curved beams out of straight grained wood????? Old oak framers use curved branches milled on their 'side'. If this isnt what you mean, then Hudson make a sort of planer attachment for a saw for stripping bark prior to milling IIRC.
  6. This guy could probably sort yiou out with cannon bars too, as an alternative to Mr Bennet in Tavistock.
  7. I am desperately trying to remember the one I used to use. It comes in a silver tin........ It may have been Sikkens.
  8. There are special glues specifically for this purpose Matty, which dry particularly clearly.
  9. Great trucks let down by rotting bodywork and poor brakes. The perkins engins are bombproof.
  10. Well done Tony. Good stuff.
  11. Wowo thats incredible for oak! Very nice indeed!
  12. Totally agree there. I have been disappointed with all the bean to cups i have come across TBH. I like the way i make it, and the bean to cups just dont seem to come out the same.
  13. I could do with a new bit that holds the coffe....the handle has snapped on my machine. This gaggia has been repaired twice, but wont make another repair. You tried Briel machines? They make superb coffee:thumbup1:, but have serious reliability issues.
  14. Starbucks or costa (i forget wihch) have brought out this instant coffee stuff. Its quite pricey, but when my Gaggia goes wrong thats what i reach for. It doesnt taste like gone off weetabix like all the other instants do, and doesnt seem to glue up your mouth like them either. Failing that, tescos do these funny little filter things you just put on top of your cup and pour boiled water through, like a filter coffee. 10 strength five for £1.99:thumbup1:
  15. I was having a look at your website and notice you have been in south cornwall. Just out of curiosity, where was that?
  16. Not the first one they have done though, but a big improvement on the last. The current lego technic range is awesome. This is the old mog.
  17. I reckon thats about the size of it. I hope a husky rep sees this thread TBH.
  18. NIce pics Ace. Grandad been teaching you all about PPE too I see:lol:
  19. It was obviously deemed as crap in comparison to stihl's new offering as all their other toppers have been that the august 'massive release' that was promised had to be moved back again so they could do a total rebuild:001_rolleyes:
  20. Heres a few pics for you Ian.
  21. So are 4 stroke a bit less revvy in general? This sounds a bit more like what I would look for then. Obviously he fondly imagines that he is going to get on a big fat KTM and start straight off lol!
