Mate- they are all jumped up scum who have mistaken wealth with class, and are little more than gold-digging pricks. They are perfectly uited to the dishonest selfish world of greed that is the modern financial world, where money has mistalkenly become a commodity in its own right, and the creation of personal wealth the goal to the detriment of society in general. They arent worth the stress mate. Pity them as they will rot in hell for eternity for their wrongdoings.
  2. what- right now??? Get down casualty man!!
  3. Crikey, its a small world. I havent heard of ash being infected yet BTW. Its probably worth establishing whether or not there actually is an outbreak of S.O.D. on the estate in question though.(The owner/ forester should know)
  4. My mate was up to it with his missus on the dark green velour settee, and in his words there was a bit of 'spillage'...The next day his monster in law came to see his missus for afternoon tea, and she returned with the tea to find her mother licking her finger trying to get the 'spilt milk' stain out of the cushion:puke::lol:
  5. I assume you are referring to Sudden Oak death, phytopthera ramorum? If your hardwood is unaffected there should be no problem, and even if it is then you can still receive the timber, but need a DEFRA licence and you will have to burn all the arisings from the timber if you are milling it. If you are selling logs then you will have to make sure that none of the timber you get is from affected areas of the estate. BTW whereabouts in dorset are you? I grew up near wimborne.
  6. why dont you sell him your kit, and treat yourself to some new stuff? (You need a different thread such as 'trading place'. A moderator can move it for you if you contact one via Private message)
  7. Fair point, and actually i agree to acertain extent.
  8. Bad day mate? I think that is a tad sweeping. I know that one post was a bit..ahem...misguided:blushing:, but the rest have been fairly constructive really- get a shutdown, dont do it etc etc. How can those sorts of answers possibly be construed as that to which you allure?
  9. If the govt are funding it then why dont you look at scheising/ bandit/ vermeer etc? Or do you have to match what they give you?
  10. Sorry. Max- its doubtful you will get a shutdown that soon. Be VERY VERY careful if they are unisnsulated, or even better walk away until you get a shutdown. Thats what my last post should have said...
  11. Domestic LV? You can touch uninsulated ones together without too much of a problem, and the insulated ones are even better. And it doesnt hurt them that much unless you are dropping sizeable lumps on them.... I wouldnt advise wrapping your ropes round them though, even though it is only LV... There were a few dropped on this one, including one that hung there straddling 4 wires...The chap i was climbing for stood in the dck of his landy tipper and unhooked it with another branch...
  12. A simple answer is that you are doing only what you have been told, and that your employer (the council) can supply them with the sort of info they are after.
  13. No worries- its easily done:001_rolleyes:
  14. Nah- im with steve here- landies are crap. I only started this as a joke thread. In fact I think a mod should bin it fairly soon now....
  15. Good point- although i think that seeing my reflection could have the other effect- a coronary:lol: Dean- tyres? me? BFG muds all the way. You've tried the rest now fit the best....I have to say that out of coopers, firestones, michelins, goodyears and broncos (plus loads of 750.16s such as avons, ) i have had over the years and 5 landies and 2 toyotas, they are the ultimate combination of on road manners, quietness (for an MT), longevity and grip. I also dont find them too pricey, paying 140 fitted etc. for 285/75/16 as i have a good 4x4 tyre dealer not too far away. So if that question was for me, thats my answer lol.
  16. They dont give it, they just are it. I had one of them.....useless towing capacity, totally unreliable electrics, ending in a fire under the seat one day, no carrying capacity (i bent the chassis in the end) AWFUL /non existant customer service, and the most hideously expensive rip off parts prices i have ever come across. And you cant get a haynes manual for them in the niorthern hemisphere. Toyota UK told me it was to protect their dealer franchise.....at£68/ hr +VAT!!!!! So i went back to landrover.
  17. Great stuff. Did something not go 100% according to plan at 1.39 lol?
  18. Wow!!!! I want mine to look like that!
  19. Yawn... Any thoughts on next week?
  20. What does the icon on your deskop or the link you use to open it say?
  21. After a while the bungee one lose their stretch anyway. I reckon i prefer the normal ones TBH.
  22. Open your start menu, search for system type, or system, then click on system in the programs list that appears above the search box,, and it will tell you there.
