  1. Do you have a website/dealer for these Ed?
  2. Had a new groundie, 1st day told hime that he must ensure pick up is kept locked at all times. I left my keys on the drivers seat, came back from the clients garden and there he was slamming the doors shut and manually locking the doors. Had to laugh!!!!!!!!

  8. Try Chelford Farm Supplies in Cheshire. They are a great Husky dealer and good team of mechanics Tel 01625 861588 ask for the chainsaw dept, then speak to Dan or Jonathan.
  9. Always found the irish great, hospitable people. Think you are living in the 70's mate. That 'trouble' all forgotten about. Met some irish people on holiday in france and we have spent many a weekend over here and over there.

  12. Anyone going? Am hoping to go on Bank Holiday Monday and pick up some knowledge. 30 chainsaw carvers from around the world competing.
  13. Now we are getting somewhere! Tim is a good mate of mine and has taught me all I know to date. Have you seen him on my website? Does a lot of climbing for me, do you know Neil and Sharon Astra Tree Services. Some other mates!

  14. Was invited to give a carving display at a Garden Festival in South Manchester, I was going to suggest you came and we could have sold some carvings. At the last minute the 'Committee' declined to use me as it was getting a bit pricey for the H&S stuff. Never mind, will keep practising
  15. Not been in army. My son is 25 and is corporal in REME. Am 49 originally from Keighley Yorkshire. Where are you based.

  16. Bart, we'll have to have a carve off competition in Cheshire. Where about are you based?
  17. Yes, Been helping the farmer clear brash dumped by a few ~other~ tree surgeons. Well brash to me means brash, not a whole Eucalyptus Tree. The Wasps went wild over it. Anyway, he decided to sort it out with his tractor and get all the big stuff out for logs, Lucky me, as I pay my rent by providing him with a 20 ft container of logs and this was the last load to fill the container. Have now got 2 stings right below my chest and on left arm, hurts like hell.
  18. Sounds like I've started something!!
  19. Ha, ha!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Hear, hear
  21. It still can be if you want to sell at £5 a bag!!
  22. Always deal in volume. Weight is not real. You don't burn 5kg of logs on a fire, you burn a bag!
  23. Sorry, misunderstanding. He found a guy in Bolton who needed cash asap. Went down with a flat artic, which he hired and did the deal. The other option you might look at is calling some haulage guys who need a return load from your area, then you can offer it delivered to a destination, if that makes sense?
  24. Yell.crap.RIPOFF.UK that's what i SAY
