  1. Use soap flakes for delicate wash. Get a net bag with ties and put the rope in it, then put rope in washer ona delicate wash, it will come out like new.
  2. Was not knocking them, merely being inquisitive. They seemed to be a good company imo but I have not seen them operating here for ages.
  3. Ha, ha. Thanks swb. Back onto the thread, seriously Andy, It's not cool, to not wear a helmet. It is cool to wear one.
  4. Nothing wrong with a man in a pink shirt, as long as it's not up a tree.

  7. Excellent Rob, I spent 2 hours yesterday, reading the instructions and putting it together. Glad I got it right.
  8. Another thing as a trainee miller, the frame gets very hot near the saw, burnt my wrist. Think I'll be wearing chainsaw gloves from now on. Got any videos yet Rob?

  11. Took down an alder tree last year. Logged it and stored for 6 months, dry as a bone and burnt just like a dream. Cannot get enough of it. It's a great burner.
  12. Make sure you have the clamps very tight. Tried my new mill received from Rob this weekend and ended up with a damaged chain and nose guard. I had not tightened the bar clamps enough and the whole mill moved! On the plus side, here is my first effort!

  22. Following some of the recent threads on equipment theft, I am not sure if this has been mentioned before. There is a National Theft Equipment Register see website Home - The National Plant & Equipment Register You can register up to 5 items free of charge and only the police will have details. So chippers, trailers and vehicles can be registered. Additionally you can check an item prior to making a purchase. Also they send you a sticker to put on your van inviting the police to stop you between 8pm and 5 am should you so wish. I have asked my insurers to look at this and it may reduce your premiums.
