  4. I've used one for running a mig welder with great success, don't know what hp you require but I've seen them supplying up to 10hp.

  6. I bought 4 chokers from Clarkes last month, next day delivery, excellent service as always.
  7. Tree work can be addictive and if you love it, it can be hard to leave. I've just been offered a job managing a new depot in Scotland for a large fencing/agri supply company. Believe me, it's very tempting but I would miss tree work but not the hastle of running your own business.

  14. Was wet this morning cutting a Hawthorn hedge but dried out now. Going to give blood once I've pulled the thorns out my fingers.

  17. It came with extra heavy duty springs and shocks so no worries there, although it does sit down a bit with 3 cubes of logs on I replaced the rear discs and pads for MOT so should be OK for a while.
  18. I've been looking for a Land rover 130 tipper for some time now as my work type has changed from domestic to estate. I've had it for just over a month now and I love it.

  21. I'd have gone for it myself if I'd not just bought a 130 Landrover tipper through Ebay recently. I've bought various 4x4s, cars, bikes and machinery through Ebay and no real problems, you've just got to know what to look for.
  22. I had a 35c12 for the last 2 years. Great truck and they can go off road if the ground is hard enough. Just changed it for a Land Rover 130 tipper as the type of work I do has changed from private to estate work.
  23. 1990 262, still gets used at least once a week, don't know what it is about it but I still think it's a great saw.
  24. yep Chris is your first port of call, done loads with him over the years, definitely one of the good guys.
  25. I was given an 025 a couple of years ago and I think it's a great little saw. You'll certainly notice a difference in weight from your 281.
