  1. for £2.50 i can by an aluminium crimp that is designed for crimping the ends of wire rope - it does exactly the same thing to be honest .
  2. personally i think that it sounds like a great idea for someone who needs the use of a 4x4 tipper every now and then . personally i would not considder buying a jap 4x4 where the standard butt tips purly because the wheel arches get in the way thus making tipping awkward , reducing the cappacity of the tipper , you still could not fit a pallet in the back and should you laod the butt up with jolgs and want to tip them off im pretty sure the wheel arches would get stoved in pretty quickly . so how would you alter the fuel filler pipe as they are attacvhed to the but and what would be your answer to converting the rear tailgate ??
  3. oh most certainly , insted of the cry or a young lamb we would of had the ramblings of a small mad irishman , oh and did a say poisoness
  4. they are lovely pics brian , they depict a calm tranquil happy place where birds call and you can hear the faint cry of a young lamb in the distance ............ and then its ruined by tommer and his motley crew ha ha ha ha ,

  11. but not good if your commuting from the north to the south to work mate , and certainly not for 3 blokes and all the kit
  12. i have a nisan navara sport , i can happily fit 4 tall climbers in it if i need to without it getting un comfortable , as for towing ability i have used it to tow a fully , fully loaded cabstar and it did not strugle, a while back we had to tow a surveyors car back to the yard , it was i pug 306 and we did not have a problem getting to 65mph up quite a steep dual carrageway . have you thought about contacting SHB 4x4 hire ??? they have some cracking trucks and are reasonable on cost .
  13. personally i would say fook the paving just go strait in with a 16 ton swinger mate . only messing , i would go for a 3/4 ton mini digger mate , just make sure you dig an extra pit so that you can burry the digger after
  14. its something that you will find under the bonnet ! you know the thing that makes a noise when you turn the key ???
  15. bet we could get one down there mate , the lane is almost strait and the reach on the hiab on the artics is fooking good , go on be a man , stand up and be counted for , if the worst comes to the wors he will just have to un load in the lane and block the lane for a couple weeks , whop cares you can still get out down the bottom trak !!!!! Remember Beauty is only the flick of a light switch away
  16. its simples tommer , if he reverses down from the road he will get right into your yard and off load the timber on to where your chip pile was
  17. take him up on the artic load mate , im sure we can find a way of getting it unloaded and then move it in to your place
  18. tommer if he meant that the gut from simpsons transport's lorry is broken and off the road i think i would be inclined to ask how i saw him only yesterday at hamburger hill heading south bound

  21. sounds like the two copper terminals , they went on mine and in the end it cost me £7.50 to repair it and its been going well ever since then (two years ago)
  22. i think your right , you really should go with your instinct and get one , oh and if you have any husky 390's for sale im always interested lol
  23. is it that the starter is jamming and not turning the engine over ?? if so it could well be two little copper l shaped pieces , they tend to wear away , i will see if i can did out a digram for you if its of any use
  24. not sure if it will hepl John byt of you need some clearing done then you could always give CP tree services in torbay a call , chris has a mulcher that he uses on his Valtra , we used him on a job when i worked for the arb agency , he did a bloody good gob as well
  25. whats up with your starter motor ??? not sure if it helps but if its a Denso starter motor you can probably get all the parts to re-condition it , i did on my mazda b2500 .
