  1. I was grinding some stumps for a council this week and a lad was sharpen his saw like this as a 6ft 1 17 stone lump I carnt bend that way I was just wondering if any 1 can sharpen like this
  2. Haha in England it holds a fair bit for a pick up and it tips it's just **** iPhone pics everythin is upside down and I forget to check and don't no how to make it rite

  4. It was off eBay it's winch max brand it says it's 3000 lbs which is just over a ton so should be enuf pull il find out tomorrow. It's remote control aswell all for £90.I welded a piece of angel iron to the blade to creat a platform to sit the winch on fairly straight forward.

  8. Day would be get to site at 8ish and crack on till 4 or 5 with a quick brew and grease up in the mornin and then dinner then quick brew and grease in the afternoon
  9. Hi I run a Carlton 4012 35hp turbo diesel I would proberly be able to knock them out in 2 days shame your not closer.i used a 7015 thats a 65hp track machine.it did 275 conifer stump approx 18inch diameter in 2 easy days.
  10. Hi I have 1 but it's a 1997 it's a old dog but it starts first time every time mine doesn't have no stress but to be fair unless ur puttin over 4 inch threw it it never stops and loves conifer keep the blades sharp and feed rollers sharp it's easily better than a timberwolf
  11. I've got a 90 tdci and it's not good on diesel at all towing it's around 20mpg
  12. I had a old hilux registered as limited use I think that's what you want to go for!i went to a Dvla office sign a few bits of paper stating it will not travel more than 2 miles away from base. It's a grey area I took it all over there was no mot and run on red diesel and free tax
  13. Hi have you tryed the alternator I once had 1 on a green mech which was faulty so soon as it stoped charging the battery it would cut out even tho the battery was fully charged! Start it back up and it would run until it did it again trial and error
  14. One option could be if you don't want to pay your lads 3 hours travel time subby the work out to a more local firm
  15. I agree your mechanic is rong think he must of seen a 540 sticker some were and just covering him self keep it well greased and you won't go rong you will love it
  16. Hi I ran a TP 200 for 5 years and never missed a beat I always ran it in 1000 pto speed at 1800 revs unless doin a lot of 8-10 inch wood.are the blades sharp?
  17. I don't think you have to inform the dvla just keep within the weight limits of the l200 and keep vosa happy

  20. Hi I've had a fee jobs now were I struggle to get the Carlton and have a job coming up in a park on a very steep banking I can get most of them with my Carlton but looking at options as I have a 88 and wondering if I can just buy the grinder part to go on it?and were can I get it from?
  21. I no TP did 1 for there pto chippers weather you can modify it to fit your chipper or not
  22. some one has had a go at my ifor trailer today they nealy got it hitched up till they got disturbed this was about 11 oclock this morning broad day light a man and a women in a old blue ford focus estate im led to believe its Romanians. I think its all going in a shipping container and getting deported a lot will be sold to order

  24. It did spend some time in Ireland after Germany I bought it from Scotland!that winch was 9tonne bought it to winch some big trees up a big banking was surprising how much we used it, only thing with it was just a bit slow but could pull anything
