  3. ifor every time i had a 12 ft tipper we high sides ramps and a sheet wish i never sold it toes realy wel with alot of wieght in and built to last.always tipped any weight i had in it
  4. im 103kgs. bit to heavy for some jobs haha
  5. its used but very tidy nd sin little work!fire wood is at all time high i no that!but with the site clearence work should turn around wen this resession ends and things start picking up again i no it wil take time.and with the power stations starting to get into burning chip i thort it mite b worth looking at!
  6. thinkin of buying!its a vermeer bc2000.i would av sum work for it already bt if i can keep it buisy al the time would be good.just lookin see if it would be worth it!
  7. hi i was wondering if any 1 out there would b intrested in hirerin a 22 inch crane fed chipper would be a tow along. behinde either unimog or a tractor so can get off road!and can travel along way for the work.its just a idea at the moment id av sum work for it but was wondering if i could keep it buisy al the time!am not sure about the rates but think sum of these chippers are on nythin from £55 per hour upwards.
  8. mogs are good ours speeds the job up no end we av it out workin every day. it cn chip in 2 hours wot my mate can chip in a day with is 6inch timberwolf. my u1200 is kickin out 160hp nd does 15mpg fully loaded so nt to bad on diesel.but uses very little wen its chippin!theres very few places wer i carnt get it coz its a gud size. keep it serviced nd look after it nd u wil av very little problems with them. couldnt go back to a van and little chipper
  9. i run a mog and if its taxed as ag then u can run a 24 ton train weight.but they are fetching a new weight catagroy in for new tractors that wil let them have a train weight of 32tons bt ur tractor has to have a test i think. wen i passed my tractor test at 16 u couldnt tow nythin wider than 2.5 meters wide bt could do a train weight of 24 ton until ur 17.
  10. thanks for al the replys!will have a look at a preditor but want to stay away from tracks realy they just make to much mess!the 252 is a gud little grinder we hire 1 of them from time to time!we also hire a carlton 7015 for bigger jobs!bt want sumthin inbetween of me own to handel most jobs!saves relying on other people
  11. im lookin at a stump grinder for narrow acess jobs bt with sum power to get the job dun it goes down to 35inch so wil fit in most places does ny1 out ther have any experience with them or no of any problems!cheers
  12. cheers mate!i wasnt to sure wot size of processors wer out there and if any1 hired them selves out we there own!its not sumthing ive ever looked in to!it looks like there could be a possible gap in the market there!
  13. hi has any 1 out there got a firewood processor for hire?a mate of mine has bought in 150-200 ton of wood nd doesnt fancy riggin it al up and splittin it!the wood is roughly 10-15ft long and nything from 10 inch up to about 20 inch in diamiter!

  17. hi there i have a 9T winch on my unimog 1200!i got the winch from atkinsons its a bit of over kill for the job but has got us out of sum sticky situations i highly recamend it!theres a picture of it on the atkinsons website i think!
  18. you can not go out for £140 a day!use ur chipper keep it greased up nd looked after it then evrythin will b ok i send my unimog out we tp200 for £35-£45 per hour(depends wot is goin on with the chip) with operator and that can get throw a hell of alot in a day you just can not keep up with it!
  19. fendts are mainly used on mulchers because of the vario drive that they have letting u have alot of control over speed and revs!and the standard revers drive.but they cost a fortune!valtras started off as a foresrty tractor so al the fragile parts of the tractor are hidin awy or protected if thats ny use
  20. i run a unimog on tree work and site clearance work and just need a normal car liecence we it been ag nd u cn drive them if 16 on a tractor test.if thats ny help?
