  3. I have a Carlton 4012 kubota diesel with 4wd and with the dual wheels on it will go just about anywhere and doesn't rip grass! but I do think the bandits are well worth a demo

Sky hucks set up takes some beating with chipper mog hiab and trailer!it's a realy good set as we found we a mog and tp 200 there is no tow a long chipper that can keep up with the power of pto mine could eat 10inch all day with no no stress it never stopped it was just the mog was full to quick but chipping on site It couldn't be beaten
  6. Hi you are a good operator on that head my mate has a 13 tonner with that head on they have a 9 inch pipe grab on them!they do take some mastering you have a very good set up
  7. I'm swooping to a defender from a isuzu rodeo Denver what a sack of cheap shite it is rides crap it realy struggles towing to long and numb to get in alot of places with a big trailer on and most important no low box for reversing with out the rear diff locking up

Thank you for all your posts like alot of you have said its a merky area also I would be intrested to no weather he has employers liability as if you use self employed lads you don't need it!also when I used to do a lot of subcontracting with my mog and chipper if I broke down on site I couldn't charge the tree surgeon I was working for down time or to fix my mechanical failer it was for me to fix. In tree work nothing runs smoothly all the time it can be a ruff job and things get broken its all part of the job he carnt have self employed lads and make them pay as it suits him then when work goes slow lay them off.i would of given full details of everything but he thinks his boss comes on here from time to time so didn't want to get him in trouble
  9. That was my thought on things!there good enuf to take it out but soon as something goes wrong it's chargeable to the self employed its not wright
  10. 1 fella (boss) has 4 self employed lads working for him 1 of them is my mate who was operating the bosses winch on his bosses job and bosses equipment I'm not to sure about it all

Hi any advice would be good!my friend works for a tree surgeon he is self employed and works there all year! a winch broke on a job they were on!the casting cracked on the winch!so my question is as been self employed who is responsible for it his boss is say my mate has to pay for it as he is self employed but surely this isn't right as I say it's a bit of a grey area for me as I've had self employed lads still do but they have never had to pay for day to day were and tear Cheers Mark
  12. Those dozer blades are ok but it's as quick with the shovel sometimes!it needs that 40 hp engine
  13. With how tight new houses are a very narrow machine maybe tracked that can go down to 26 inch with 40hp+ if that's possible just a thort because 35inch isn't small enuf for a powerfull grinder

  15. Yeah those big 360 diggers can rip any stumps out but it's what can you do with a big stump tip fees are threw the roof some site clearances ive been on worked cheaper for me to grind them than dig them out and cart them away in a 8wheeler

  17. I used to run my to 200 in the 1000 speed for pto at about 2000 rpm the belts want to be tight!are they slipping?

  21. hi I have loads of stump grinding pictures to put on but with using a iphone my pictures are all ways round and with been a bit slow with computers I carnt work out how to rotate the pictures.so how do I rotate them
