  1. You don't buy a new machine for it to let you down that's why I got a new arbtrack150 I'd say defernetly a warrenty claim
  2. I bolted a biggish piece of angel iron to the blade and then welded the winch to that it was only a cheap electric winch of ebay it was a atv 750kg with remote think it cost £60 it's come in handy more times than ud think even to winch Land Rover out once

  5. Hi I had a 5 toner for 3 weeks for £300 a week with a thumb they are nationwide if it's any use
  6. my tdci defender never gets above 20mpg realy id be better with a little diesel van for pricing and running round and a rb 44 or something similar

I have the 2.4 tdci 90 nd remapped it it realy does pull well first gear is realy low so there's no crunching between high nd low to set it off like the td5s.only this is with it been short you Dernt go over 50mph with a full ifor load of wood or chip or you'll end up in a ditch or up side down and it's the most uncomfey thing you will ever ride in I'd love 1 of them fords off top gear
  8. A nice v8 diesel would do me I keep looking at the American stuff but with are stupid fuel prices and perfetic wieght limits it makes it hard work

  11. Hi just testing the water on a 10-12 inch tow along chipper must have turn table aswell for the contract it will be going on. Bandit will be faviourit then next Vermeer I'm guessing dealers get in touch
  12. That sounds like an answer from some one who sits in a office and thinks a grinder should only be used on flat dry ground
  13. That is just a cheap one off ebay made for atv's says it will pull 1 ton which it pulls my carlton around any where think the carlton is 800kg think if your on a bigger track machine you mite want a 2-3 ton version
  14. Not a tracked grinder but I fitted this to mine for a job on a banking. It gets used more than you'd think
  15. Hi I had a u1200 and fitted the vos springs and it made a massive difference better in every way they were well worth it in the 4 years i ran it we never had a problem

  17. Something like this would extract your timber I came across it in a yard while tipping some chip off old but cheap
  18. Hi have a lad who comes with his tractor and splitter he charges £25 per hour i Thort that's good as the normal stuff we take down a processor wouldn't touch!never be too cheap it's a mugs game
  19. Hi Chris If you go shopping round just make sure they are the high speed ag tyres because there is a cheaper version but arnt for high speed and blow out for fun with a bit of wieght on
  20. I would say a schsling is well worth a look ive had a go with a 550 fair enuf it was a pto machine but it destroyed a few big conifers today in very little time.i run a arbtrak 150 and carnt fault it but I no it's nice to have s big machine on some jobs just speeds things up
