    Has anyone tried those cheapy ama saws that Josie was selling any good? Is the bigger Makita top handle any use, they look a bit like the old style 020
  2. I would avoid section felling if I could but I bet you couldn't pull it down with a landrover if you tried!

    Go here About Peetone, Peter noble and Tony bailey Peter Noble will send you a replacement carb kit, a proper carb that can be tuned correctly, not these quarter turn jobs, cost around £70 works every time, one tip is to fit a new air filter or wash the old one in very hot detergent to remove the oil residue that can reduce airflow

  11. Burning up some thorn today which was laden with snow, as the snow was melting and dripping onto the fire the flames were flairing up and the brash seemed to burn faster than on previous less snowy days? Has anyone noted this before?

  14. Been in the thick of it today must have chipped a few ton of snow attached to the brash, chipper chute looked like it had been wiped with cream cheese! Back tomorrow for more punishment!

I fitted a double acting cylinder on mine to force the top roller down and smash the laterals off, works a treat at least 100% more efficient You can also lift the top roller for bigger bits and clear any jammed timber, I know these are fitted a lot to big chippers but why not smaller machines?
  18. :thumbdown:Tidy my garage, just a thin path to get in to the back, gear every where, my work bench has a ton of stuff on it, have to do a balancing act to get at the chain rivet spinner!

    Do all new huskys have the starting bubble, why do we need these never needed them before on a pro saw, something else to get ripped off when snedding, just like a mcculluch??
