  2. Willow is tough to grind with all but the most powerful machines. Keep your tips sharp, get a cordless grinder and diamond disc. Sharpen little and often, you'll soon notice when it's been dulled.
  3. Have a Concept 2 machine, it's a commercial bit of kit and the one to have. Expensive new but plenty second hand about. It'll last a lifetime with excellent resale value!!

    Good bus, 6 cylinder turbo, they go well and sound mint, mine was also down plated so carried big loads without anyone noticing! Can be prone to body rot tho:thumbdown:
  11. Make your own out of plyboard, fit these to get thro gate then swap back to grind, job done

  18. 14 hours days, that's fitting 2 days in one! £250 a day is £125 in real terms! But good if you just want to get your head down work and save on short to medium term.

  21. Can anyone tell me please what model of track base was fitted to the early Arborplant 150 tracked wood chippers, mines a 2002. I need an idler wheel and hydraulic cylinder, but not sure what model it is!! Thanks Brett
  22. How about setting up an account at your local filling station, they normally do a better price than forecourt advertised for account holders. Look for a fuel depo on your local industrial estate where wagons fill, they are normally self service with a card on account
