  3. Got to say I really liked Kern on the wrench, When we where struggling to see what your tied over I like a bit of stretch. knotability is brilliant! Orange is super easy to see in emergents!

  5. I know a chap who swaps all his hooks for eyelets on his boots, he just got a hole/eyelet punch of amazon.

  7. was only about 10m up, used my fig8 to descend. freakish indeed, but all good, hitch caught me. We gave up looking for the pin, and magically appeared so was well chuffed
  8. Sorry mark, not checked AT for a few days, i got mine from zoolando.co.uk. Ive had no issues with mine, no snapped eyelets and ive had mine on everyday since i got them, maybe im just more carefull than geoff an drew!
  9. Had my pin pop out randomly during descent on friday, luckly was over a patio so found it but was a close! Looks like it caught a strand, which depressed the catch and jammed it...this happenned to anyone else?

  15. Would this help?? If ive understood your problem Ewan? I whipped a bulge just bellow the wrench on the eye which stops the wrench dropping. Pretty simple solution.
  16. When NOT switching to drt... sorry typo. I'm still getting to grips with it, anchors etc so sometimes descend drt. Just nice to have the ability to do so atm while im still learning the SRT way...

    Not a good day!

    Yee the lady (tenant) knew nothing of it! Whattt ?????? think its a bit harsh on the reduction? Reduced to below ground level I was only subbing so not really my problem, but being the ***** in her tree (she'd lived there for 15years) I got the earfull! The rest where on the otherside of the fence!
  20. Got rear access to the job all organised by the customer (landlord) and got to work, only to notice a while later a lady waving a brolley at me... Anyway she didnt get told about the work and came back after work to this! To say i ruined her day would be a massive understatement! Its not often you see people so distraught as she was... Anyone had similar, really felt bad for her and made me feel pretty shabby!

  24. Yep, if you only climbing srt its the way forward! In fact i got a red pinto thats not being used...... Lets see what i can come up with!
